I'm actually worried about EA the worse they do the more they'll probably try and cling to what they consider "safe" investments. The only EA game i love is DeadSpace and there already talking about stopping that after the third game. Makes me most depressed, why do you hate my money EA?

Well, if this does bite them in the ass then we can kiss Crysis, Dead Space and sports games goodbye. But yeah, EA's stocks aren't going that great, a few more bad games might do it for them, or at the least really hurt them. Hopefully.

....why yes I am still bitter about ME3.

Well it looks pretty much exactly like Battlefield 3, why would I want another shooter that looks exactly like Battlefield 3? I already have Battlefield 3 with Premium, I am not going to buy another modern day shooter when I already have one, especially when they look so much alike as it is.

what now the little girl is going to for fill her destiny and join the USA ARMY to avenge her farther. Fuck me this video reeks of band masturbated patting themselves on the back for milking something tragic mixing it up with a video game a Shitty video game to justify it and then to top it off this lazy ass fucking song with far bigger budget then it deserved. US army recruiting tactics are low but then its just sad using this kinda shit. Impressionable youth tactics for the win, this band is popular with kids these days and so is video games. Soo0o0o0o, the biggest boost this game will get is the fact its got BF4 beta, which i feel really ripped off having got BF3

I think we may be surprised at how many people around the globe might consider getting it just because their nationality is represented.

That said, it's going to have an uphill struggle to overcome it's predecessor's reputation, even if it turns out to be a good game, which I'm dubious about.

It won't kill EA, but I sure hope that it forces them to review the way they strongarm developers and not give them much creative freedom.

...but I doubt it.

And then their rotting corpse gets bought by Zinga
These bastards must pay for things they did to C&C franchise

Ninja'd. I really hope it happens.
are you kidding? I mean I seriously hope you're not serious. EA won't "die"... but they may start changing some of their strategies for the next fiscal year.

Then again, everything ELSE has been a success sooo... we'll see.
I said I hope it happens I never said it will happen.

I agree the last game was pretty good, especially the campaign. The title was just "Medal of Honor" wasn't it? That's what my box says at any rate.
Yeah, exactly why the title sucked, made me think of the real first MoH, the WW2 one. The campaign was good, the multiplayer was pretty meh, but a prologue to BF3.
Overall BF3 was pretty meh, I much prefered Bad Company 2. It was a much more unique experience, with much more destruction on hand.

The multiplayer in MoH 2010 was decent enough, but not gripping enough to keep me hooked, it was playable and some modes wre excellent, others truly awful, I can't remember the stupid names though. What got me was it was basically a half-asssed hardcore mode all the time.

Also the multiplayer trophies were bullshit. Not even like BF3 where they were just too easy. Just bullshit. Killstreaks weren't needed in the first place don't focus trophchievements on them!

I also predict that it will be outsold, much like everything else, by CoDBlops 2 (so, is the new zombies mode like Left 4 DEad or what? Seriously I want an explanation.).
Okay, this is based on what we know.

There is three modes this time around:

TranZit
Survival (standard Nazi Zombies)
and 4z4 (Grief).

TeanZit:

-At least five locations are located in the world: A bus stop, diner, farm, an industrial type of area, and a town. Each one appears to escalate in difficulty as the player traverses across the world.
-A method of transportation, the upgradeable Bus. Zombies can latch onto it while it is in motion, and players can climb up to its roof or fight inside the bus to defend it.
-Four all new playable characters.
-Some previous Perk-a-Colas will make a return, such as Speed Cola.
-The girl that was first seen on the teaser poster of Black Ops II appears as a playable character.
-A new type of zombie, the Electrical Zombie.
-Power ups will return, such as Max Ammo.
-Buildables, a new system that allows players to build objects from individual items in the world. Currently, the only confirmed one is the Assault Shield.

http://callofduty.wikia.com/wiki/TranZit

Survival: Same as it has always been.

4z4: Where matches of two to eight players in various team-sizes try to outlast each other in the zombie outbreak. The teams cannot directly harm one another but they can still hinder each other by blocking the enemy team's way or luring zombies towards them.

Compared to previous games such as Blops and World at War, with the Nuketown Zombies DLC map, there is 6 maps compared to the normal 1 or 2.

Warfighter is EA's black ops,
To be fair, Black Ops 2 this time is doing a lot more changes and more innovations then MW3 ever did.
Not too arsed about survival, it was fun in W@W but I disliked it in Black Ops, the zombies barely seemed to respond to bullets and the difficulty escalated too fast for my tastes, especially since I'd prefer to dick about a bit.

As for TranZit I already knew those details but I don't understand the mode yet really, if it's like left 4 dead we may have a winner, but if it's just like survival with a quick travel between locations then meh.

How many Zombies maps are there this time? Blops was stingy as hell with them, not to mention the best maps were the W@W ones.

And yeah Blops 2 is supposedly innovating, but I'll believe that more when I see it, the non-linear story I expect to be fairly inconsequential, unless of course there's a story where this magnificent beast is alive in the form of some kind of terminator:

Best Character in COD. I demand a spin off where he teams up with Price int he future to fight Space Nazis.

So have I...

So have most people, I think...

It's one of those "oh yeah, that's being made" titles, everybody remembers it's being made when told so, but nobody remembers otherwise

all these people wishing for the game to bomb are really fucked up.... I mean ok if you dont like it but jesus these are peoples jobs and lives that are on the line here have a little bit more humility. OK EA makes some shitty moves yea I get it but its not the people making the games fault.

I actually remember seeing when this was shown for the first time at some gameshow. My first thought was "Oh look, more Battlefield 3 DLC. Oh, wait. This is a different game?"

Two things about the vid:

1. Would it kill Linkin Park to write music that has any amount of complexity?

2. FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT'S GOOD AND HOLY, PLEASE TELL ME THEY DIDN'T SPLICE GAME FOOTAGE IN THERE.

As for the game, uh... I didn't know there WAS another Medal of Honor coming out...

I guess no noticeable advertising campaign is a step up from "Your Mom Hates Dead Space 2".

MOH isnt such a big franchise that it could impact EA evne if it collapsed.
In other news: Warfighter took the best of COD, BF, combined them together and is going to be a flop because humans are stupid.

to be fair, COD hasnt innovated since COD4

Black Ops II has branching choices in the single-player campaign. A year ago, we would have thought that to be absurd.

I know people talk shit about the series, but give them just a bit of credit. They know how to keep the plot and storylines fresh, even if the gameplay tends to be the same most of the time.

And yet we already had branching choices in Singleplayer back in 1997. Sure for COD that is a new thing, for gaming - not even close. I can give them cradit for streamlining same machanism of fighting so well that many idiots cling to it and throw money at them every year.

That is true (and I know it was present in some games from the 90's), but it was never really a "thing" until the late 00's. Seeing it go SO:TL-style is still a bit weird to me, considering how much they wanted to keep the formula the same.

Medal of Honor as a franchise has never really drawn me in at any point really... BUT now that Linkin Park is trying to help promote this game, I still have like no interest at all in another brown shooter.

Just makes me wonder if Eminem was too busy doing something important than helping rap over some of their game-play or something. Shame really, I liked it when Eminem was brought in for the Call of Duty adverts, was my favorite part of those games. X3
