So have most people, I think...
It's one of those "oh yeah, that's being made" titles, everybody remembers it's being made when told so, but nobody remembers otherwise

I actually remember seeing when this was shown for the first time at some gameshow. My first thought was "Oh look, more Battlefield 3 DLC. Oh, wait. This is a different game?"AlwaysPractical said:So have I...Eruanno said:I had already forgotten this game even existed... :3

MOH isnt such a big franchise that it could impact EA evne if it collapsed.Gearhead mk2 said:Maybe this will be the thing that finally kills EA, or at least takes away most of it's power. We can only hope.
to be fair, COD hasnt innovated since COD4To be fair, Black Ops 2 this time is doing a lot more changes and more innovations then MW3 ever did.
Black Ops II has branching choices in the single-player campaign. A year ago, we would have thought that to be absurd.Strazdas said:to be fair, COD hasnt innovated since COD4
And yet we already had branching choices in Singleplayer back in 1997. Sure for COD that is a new thing, for gaming - not even close. I can give them cradit for streamlining same machanism of fighting so well that many idiots cling to it and throw money at them every year.crazyrabbits said:Black Ops II has branching choices in the single-player campaign. I know people talk shit about the series, but give them just a bit of credit. They know how to keep the plot and storylines fresh, even if the gameplay tends to be the same most of the time.
That is true (and I know it was present in some games from the 90's), but it was never really a "thing" until the late 00's. Seeing it go SO:TL-style is still a bit weird to me, considering how much they wanted to keep the formula the same.Strazdas said:And yet we already had branching choices in Singleplayer back in 1997. Their tremendous talent is better served elsewhere. EA has a reputation for sacking and shifting around their employees when a project is done anyway.joeman098 said:all these people wishing for the game to bomb are really fucked up.... I mean ok if you dont like it but jesus these are peoples jobs and lives that are on the line here have a little bit more humility. OK EA makes some shitty moves yea I get it but its not the people making the games fault.
