1.You gotta be tougher at least for your sake, I mean it's nothing to new of a idea but not like "be a man" but be able to have thick skin. Being Mute and dealing with both Deaf people and Hearies I have to say you just have to understand everyone is a bigot in their own ways and just learn to move on with your life,If not you'll become depressed I suggest taking up smoking if you need to just get away or meet people who are more open minded.

2.With some women as far as personality goes your not going to win them all over, With me I had friends who were Androgynous males however they were just that friends. Sometimes no matter what you do your personality just won't click with all girls on a romantic level. Doesn't mean we hate you just means we want more of the dominating personalities romantically is all.

...You're not the only one who doesn't like sports, and I'd like to believe has nothing to do with being androgynous and everything to do with having better things to do with your time, a few examples of which are: baiting lions, running into a police station with a loaded weapon and screaming, with a target painted on your chest, and eating live grenades.

Ya,Just high school sucks overall. Best thing I did was hang out with the miss-fits and nerds and geeks prolly why I am so much more open minded about others as well no matter who they are. But I mean it's hard rather your Mute,Or Transsexual,Bi,Gay,Lesbian,Black in a all white racist town etc... But at the end of the years in high school you'll be better and realize a lot of girls like the smart caring guy instead of the beer drinking jock. Same way you'll find guys who prefer playing Wii bowling rather then playing football.

So trust me after high-school it gets soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much better. The one's who are different end up being on the top and the ones who were idiotic end up digging ditches.

I wish people would stop giving me reasons to go to anime conventions. It's getting hard to keep believing it's a bad idea. XD

So trust me after high-school it gets soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much better. The one's who are different end up being on the top and the ones who were idiotic end up digging ditches.

Though that being said, ditches are important. Where would the panama canal be without ditches? Not a canal, that's for sure. It would just be panama.

Seriously though, I don't doubt it. I think it has something to do with the lack of motivation for students to be at school. But that's opening up a whole new can of worms which I don't really want to get into now. Maybe tomorrow.

Here's a few reasons it's bad, I saw men dressed as women,Women dressed as men. Cat's with kitty ear headbands on it was pure chaos <.<. Plus the bottled water was like 4$ a bottle sooo bring bottled water. ^^

There's one thing about people anyone with eyes, ears, and enough sense to break off and look inwards at society from an independent, outside perspective will see.

People f***ing suck.

I could say that a lot more long-windedly, but that's basically it. When they feel bad, people as a whole will temporarily start to suck less for a few days, but soon as they're bored, will continue to suck, and might even start to suck more thinking the situation is won and over. Case in point:
Anti-racism movement.
Womens rights movement.
Basic civil liberties.
Kosovo.
Gaza.
Darfur.
The U.N. (War is illegal, right? Right? Anyone?)

Anyway, people will usually only suck less for long enough to make a permanent change forced on everyone else after the public is bored of sucking less.

Am I wrong? PLEASE prove me wrong. I would love to be proven wrong. Do something good for the sake of doing something good, not just for personal gratification. Don't do it just once, that would just be sucking less temporarily. Make a habit of doing it, and show others how to permanently suck less. Maybe once we get people in a large enough scale to suck less, things will start to get better.

I'm no exception, here I am with ideas for a better world and I'm posting on a forum after spending a few hours rewatching Yahtzee Croshaw.

This whole thing seemed like you were yelling at the reader like it was their responsibility...but alot of the time 'Be a Man' simply means to ignore emotional response (which at times is a very good thing) and get a task done. The whole world is not against you...in fact, from what I've seen, the Man's man archetype hardly attracts as many women nowadays. It seems that more sensitive guys are becoming a standard, at least in my experience. If you think it's bad being androgynous, imagine just being irrelevant.

Realistically, what do you actually want done to get androgyny more popular? A few interesting characters may not change much.

Not to mention how hard it is to actually get a popular character from an 'out' group. Several people I know who are a little more reactive and flamboyant are actually uncomfortable with it, noting that it distances them from other people. What would you say to these people if they planned to attempt to fit in more?

You make good points for sure. The problem certainly seems to be much more of an issue in the media and in highschool than it actually is in reality. Then again, I do see what you're saying with flamboyant people being distanced. But the thing there is that it's not their fault that they are being distanced. It's just a problem in society with accepting outlandish or different types of people. If someone wanted to try to change though, I'd say that's fine if it would make them honestly, deep down, feel better. The problem is that it often doesn't.

Whining, crying, complaining, griefing. You're throwing your problems on the internet when the real problem is with your own perspectives and the expections reality has of you. Either toughen up or ignore it. Or, y'know, suicide; that's always an option, and usually the best one.

Watch anime, maybe? Not sure what else to suggest, on that one. Maybe find some action-based RPGs, like Kingdom Hearts and maybe Radiata Stories or Star Ocean 2.

Good basic idea, but remember, attacks tend to be met with counterattacks. No matter what you say now, you are in combat with that individual and won't achieve the goal you seem to be aiming for. You might get popular support, but that individual is now going to defend his/her position which you have now attacked.

But as for physical appearences, I'm not super-buff jock. I have some arm muscle from crutching my twisted corpse around and one of my legs is really ripped while the broken one is withering away (I used to be a huge cyclist). Physical appearences matter little to me, as long as you're clean and not dripping infectious pus on me.

I feel for you man. I know the feeling of hiding a physical defect. I am not reffering to my broken leg, but rather a horrible case of dandruff. Worse, there's a girl who I think likes me, and I return the affection. She loves feeling up my hair, so I'm worried the secret will come out eventually.

Add to that, almost every person in high school is a complete xenophobic dick and I really feel sorry for you. If your only problem is a bit of chub in the wrong places, try getting buff, assimilate if it'll make you feel better.
