Well, one of my wireless Gamecube controllers hasn't worked for years. Once upon a time I was playing Soul Calibur II in that god-awful tedious dungeon mode. I was on an extremely hard floor, and just could not for the life of me win against this one guy. Long story short, that controller went CAREENING across my living room.

Diablo II - Fell for a scam and lost all of my items that I had been working towards for several weeks. I switched off the computer and cried :'(. A few days later I was back in the game and scamming other people! XD

I miss the cut-throat days...

I threw a guitar and broke it after playing rock band, I don't even remember what happened, but everyone was pretty shocked cause I'm usually very calm, but competitive games get me all worked up and I throw things apparently.

The level called "Into the Bear's Jaws" in RUSE.

No matter what tactics I use I keep failing the mission.I haven't played RUSE since I realized that I can't beat that level.

I used to lunge forward, tear the Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle cartridge out of my Genesis, and hurl it across the room so hard it would strike two walls before landing. "Used to" as in "I made a habit of it." God, how that game pissed me off. To its credit the cartridge never broke.

I shelled out fifty bucks for Mass Effect only to find a bug-ridden, glacially sluggish, barely playable excuse for the game I'd paid for. Tried to force my way through it to get to this great story I heard about -- no dice. Couldn't even save the game without it crashing. All games have bugs but ME's problems are simply insulting. I want my money back.

I often get angry in multiplayer, but that's the players, not the games.

This my sound silly, but when I was younger I cried while playing red steel 1. Me and My brother were playing multiplayer and the game started you off with a pistol that is capable of one shot head shots. He killed me once, tuned dramatically to face the opposite side of the map and spawn killed me loads of times. i cried just because this games was just so horribly produced, thought out and constructed.

Half-life 2. I got stuck at the sewer escape at the beginning. Threw the box across the room. I then got stuck at that fucking strider battle near the end. Yanked out the disc and angrily ground it against the wooden floor. I actually think it helped get rid of a sound glitch.

Resistance 2 multiplayer. First and last match. Controllers were thrown.

I've also punched my leg in frustration a few times at cheap modern warfare 2 kills.

Minecraft: Spent half an hour looking for the perfect location. Spent hours getting the necessary materials for my dream house.Spent hours making this house. Lot's of wood, iron blocks, diamond blocks, some glowstone, etc. on top of ice, with a lava pool on the second floor. While putting on some finishing touches, I hear a SSSSS noise behind. I immediately jump to the side and run, narrowly avoiding the creeper's explosion. I then hear another SSSS and manage to avoid this one too. Barely. I then realised that the God of Minecraft had something against my choice of wallpaper when, having managed to get inside the house through one of the gaping holes left by the two previous explosions, I hear SSSSS for a third time avoid that one aswell. I am now left with 1 heart of life. Quickly I run forward to block up the holes and get some respite from this apparent creeper horde, just in time to get hit by the lava from the now absent second floor. No worries, I'll just reappear near my bed, go to my storage and repair the damage. But wait, what's this? I've just respawned at the original spawn point? My bed must have been destroyed...so after the half hour's journey back, I discover the remains of my homes. I say remains, but I should say "hole in the ice".

I have never felt such rage from a game.

It was one of the challenges in Need for Speed: Shift, one that forces you to drive in a certain car. It was a crappy course as well. And me being me I restart the race when I fail one corner. I must've failed it over 50 times before I started using my PS3 controller as a hammer, on soft-padded chair mind you. And it still cracked. Fixed it afterwards though, haven't touched the game since. Racing games are bad for my blood pressure.

I missed one note on "My Name is Jonas" in GHIII. Last part of boss fight in DMC4 (I had no idea what I was doing so I died...a lot). Stealth level in Uncharted 2. Chameleon boss in Kingdom Hearts. You know, I kinda suck at games, btw, so it doesn't take much.

I find the Scions from Mass Effect 2 rather annoying, and I have raged more than once over them.

Also, F.E.A.R. 3 - lobbing one monster after another at me, thinking I'll still get scared by the "monster jumping out from somewhere" after it has been used a billion times :|
Even Alma was more annoying than scary when she popped up every once in a while. *little more than slightly disappointed, here*

But, for me, the game that made me rage the most, and still manages to piss me off, would be Resident Evil 4. And I was shit at it - still am. Every single mission where Ashley was with me was absolutely horrible.

Maybe I just suck at playing vidja gaemz :p

I had the urge to destroy everyone and everything after getting noobtubed for the upteenth time by a guy using OMA and danger close pro. I've had the urge to snap the game in half a few times but instead I finally put it away and didn't play it for 4 months and have only lately returned.

I believe it would be final fantasy 9 because I spent about 2 hours farming, an hour reading through the text and I was to the point where I was seriously breezing through enemies, they did 0 damage and I one hit kill them, then I got into a fight with a chain of bosses and one of them immediately dropped my entire party to single digit hit points in turn one then killed them in turn two.

edit: very shortly after I posted this a friend pointed out I still loved FF 9 despite this but there was one game in particular that did something nearly the same only decided to spit in my eye at the same time.

Final fantasy tactics! There a point where you fight a bunch of goons, then when the battle ends it unexpectedly pops up a save screen, so I save, after that I get into a fight with someone who's so strong my guys who were just two hitting and taking single digit damage from the previous fights are two hit killed and only knock him down about 10-20 damage a hit... I try to reload and it reloaded me at the beginning of the fight... AND FUCK YOU FF TACTICS! combine that with its ridiculously slow game play and stale story line I swiftly moved on to Disgaea.

I bit a controller once when it it wasn't accepting commands from certain buttons at the same pace as others. I don't remember what the game was, though. A game never bothers me as much as control recognition failure does.
