Anime wtf moment

I had recently started watching bleach when i came across this clip
The japanese are really having fun with the concept of lesbianism when it gives the girls fucking super powers. (no pun intended)

Any anime wtf moments you run in to?

I don't know how much more you've seen of the series but there's a WTF episode not far from the one you embedded. I'm talking about episode 228, a filler where they're close to-

I have to say, humour in anime is often like this since there's no real sense of restraint. Who else remembers the watermelon Hollow from Bleach?

I have never watched this series, as its basic premise is far too ridiculous for my willing suspension of disbelief to accept, but so far as I know this happens every episode, multiple times.

I've watched that to the end. I wanted to kill myself.

You should watch it, it's a level of slapstick funny beyond anything else you'll ever see.


My what the fuck moment was from umineko, when battler just throws random shit together in order to beat beatrices argument, episode 25-26 I think.
Manga moment came after reading 99 issues of mx0 only to realise it'd been cancelled last year and given a completely dump ending.

um, well theres soul eater...all of it.....
and a few episodes of ergo proxy had me scratching my head...but I think my favorite was this one
because we all remember that chip eating scene.

Oh God, this! Had me in stitches with amazement.

That is a WTF moment but I don't remember it from the subbed version. Seems the dubbers added it for some reason if I remember correctly.

weeell the second ep of K-On!! where yui's lifelong dream if she had money is to be slapped with a bundle of bills in the face by her sister. that made me go WTF!? like hell.

Nope that was actually aired on TV as genuine as it gets. My anime WTF moment was during the second season of "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" they aired the same episode about 5 times with only mild tweaks on the end seriously you could skip 4 episodes and not have missed a single thing.

Still love the show to death though.

Correction. 8 Times. Love the show as well though.

It's shonen, so a dark ending would have upset a lot of people.

As for me, Bleach. The arrancar arcs mirror the soul society one almost perfectly, but with different villians.

Trigun is also pretty weird.

I will agree that the industry can learn a lot from Evangelion. As I said "Evangelion is a prime example of everything anime should avoid"
It has a generic mech story with just a fucked up ending. Apart from the end it is very by the numbers. As for the story, there was little enough of that as it is. Fight Angels when they show up then go back to Asuka being a arrogant *****, Rei being a borderline vegetable and Shinji being, honestly, the whiniest little ***** ever. And they all get the most tacked on reasons for why they are that way. Their "depth" is that of a teaspoon.
As for the vision, ya know who else has visions? The retard who bangs his head into walls because spoons tell him that his family are really mole people. Does not mean we should praise Dribbles McSpacko for declaring his feet are the greek gods come to elevate humanity while he rides the sunshine bus.
And that does kinda fall apart since the director, after fucking up the ending of the regular series with a truly retarded piece of crap that made NO sense thus earning him the fans hatred, made End of Evangelion, and admitted this, that he made it with the sole intention of pissing off all the fans who sent him threats even more.
Generally the fans of Evangelion get divided into two groups. Those who admit its a steaming pile and those who claim if you do not like it you obviously did not understand it even though they do not understand it themselves.

I might be going out on a limb here, but you seem to be a little on edge. It's okay if you dont like the show, but that doesn't mean that the people who do like it are morons. You don't see depth, fine. I do. Just chill out and let us have fun with our little show.

OT: The last episode of Mahoromatic. It was a pretty mediocre romcom, but that last episode was the biggest WTF moment I'd ever seen in an anime.
