Don't shift goal posts here. I never said anything about sales, and neither did you. Your original statement was that Nintendo charges 20-30% more for their games on the online store than their competitors. Steam doesn't get a free pass because they have a couple of sales. If you were to go on Xbox Live, PSN, and/or Steam at any given time when they aren't having a sale- unless a specific studio is holding their own special sales (like Atlus did with the eshop a couple of days ago) you will note that the prices for games on each storefront is pretty much the same.Elithraradril said:Oh, so you claim there are massive sales in Nintendo's store ? Otherwise there no point bring up Steam, is there ?
Doesn't address the original comment so it stands to reason that you can buy anything from the Nintendo eshop anywhere providing you have the 3DS on you and a solid internet connection. You do realize that PSN have normal, browser based store as well, so I can buy games for Vita/PS3/PS4 without touching any of them?
And before you nitpick that, Sony and Microsoft are multi billion dollar industries that have their hands in all sorts of markets such as music, hardware, film, software, computers and so on. Whereas Nintendo is solely game focused. Thus it would only make sense that they have browser based stores. It's an automatic advantage.
Right, and I suppose your computer never goes into sleep mode as well? Because for most people that happens after around 10-30 minutes depending on the setting.Advice: just leave you PC on and you can download games remotely via WebBrowser or SteamApp
As for the Steam app, I have it on my phone and I certainly don't remember that being a feature present on the app. The most it did was notify me of messages from friends, tells me when a wishlist item is on sale, and let's me purchase said game for me to download later when I get back to my laptop at home.
Are you seriously telling me that people will be comfortable with having their whole family having access to their password and user info? Why do you think that Valve is introducing shared content for users on the same machine ?
Really? You got anything to back that up? Because I have a bunch of friends with Steam accounts and I don't recall them ever sharing it with more than one person.Bacause it's fairly common that people share one Steam account when they live together.
No explanations, no links, and has absolutely nothing to do with Nintendo's online store front.Well I don't need Martians to send "we're not coming" note to see they're not here. Nintendo have been almost absent on local market for years, and now they're simply absent.
How does that represent a lack of of PR in Poland? Did you ever bother to shoot them an email presenting this question? And contact email is from german domain so they don't even have single representative in PL
It's not an improvement if the feature has been there for as long as the 3DS had an online store.Nice, it's a progress.
