I think all the riddles have been answered so I'll just write one of my own.

Three men go out on a boat. The boat capsizes and they all die but not a single man drowned. How is this possible?
As it tipped, they all banged heads and suffered blunt force trauma and died :p

OR

Somali pirates shot them

OR

Jap whale fishers got them

All perfectly plausible :p

EDIT: DAMN too late, but at least I have the first original response.

I kill gods and the devil too;
No one is safe from me.
From prisoner to demi-god,
I've come a long way.
I use tools in a most ironic way,
destroying, not creating.
Who am I?

This will be hard
Is it critics?

Oh, is it free speech? Or a writer?

A girl lives in a house with her parents. There is a cellar door in the house, and her parents warn her to never, ever, open it because she's not ready to see what's behind it.

What is on the other side of the door that her parents don't want her to see?

I guess I wasn't specific enough. I'll edit.

Three men go out on a boat to a spot where there is nothing but open water to the horizon. The boat capsizes and they all sink then die but not a single man drowned. How is this possible?

Are they soluble?

Nope, they're physically normal human males.

Do they get eaten by a giant squid?

There are million and one answers to this. Riddles need to be more specific.

Intended as nonsense, but proposed answers have been "Poe wrote on both" and "Because it slopes with a flap" along with some others, Carroll thought one up after being asked, too.

You are man? If I'm right, I'd say the riddle is a bit of a petty snipe.

For my contribution Only one comes to mind and it is well known so I doubt it will stump anyone for long...

Technically it is possible for them to die of oxygen deficiency (asphyxiation perhaps) because when the boat turns upside down and then sinks, they have a reserve of oxygen - which will be depleted eventually.

A simple one:

A father, a son, a father, and a son go out in a boat to fish. Each man catches one fish, but when they return to land they only have 3 fish. Why?

If you know the answer shout it out, but only if you have one to put after.
Why did you post that in <url=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.99031?page=1>This thread today, then make another thread exactly like it?

One father's son is also a father.

I'll rewrite mine, it seems to be fairly poorly worded.

Three men go out on a boat with nothing but their cloths and a small cooler of recreational beverages to a spot where there is nothing but open water to the horizon and nothing in the water but nonlethal solutes. The boat capsizes and they all sink then die but not a single man drowned or asphyxiated. How is this possible?

That's where you're wrong, the answer is the outside world, the girl is in the cellar.
