any major franchises you never got into?

Never really got into Disgaea, or any tactics games really. Also I could never get into Half-Life, I loved Portal thought.

Final Fantasy with the exception of TA,TA2 and the remake of 1 I never realy played them or beat any of them also I never realy got into mario (I dont have any nintendo consoles)

I used to be a big time FPS-player. I really loved the genre... however, I've never bothered to even look up COD, Battlefield or Halo. I don't know why not, but I dislike the games without knowing anything about them. It's probably because of the fan base and that I don't feel like being told what I'm doing wrong by 14 year old kids all the time.

Final Fantasy. I'm not into JRPG's though.

I'm hoping you've at least tried the games themselves rather than just dismissing them as another in a genre you haven't had much luck with in the past.

My friend was playing Final Fantasy XIII and it looked like junk. I played it for about an hour and I didn't like the art style, the game play, the story or the world. I've never played a JRPG I even moderately enjoyed.

I think it's hard to find a good one. Hell, I like JRPGs and I think most of them suck! It's generally accepted that FFXIII was rubbish. Shame you started there really.

I've never really been into COD or Halo, mainly as I suck at aiming.

Mass Effect 2 is a lot better, and I really liked Mass Effect 1.

My games I never got into:

Half-Life (Got Orange Box for Portal and Team Fortress, comp couldn't run Half-Life)
Final Fantasy (And XIII did absolutely nothing to plead its case, although I do like FFTA)
Oblivion (Leveling up is such a pain in the ass. Tried it, preferred Fallout.)

You shouldn't get into the franchise. Only the first game was good, and there was no nudity in that one.

I never played a Zelda game, either. I was always a PC and Playstation kid, although I did play Mario games on gameboy...

Also, Halo because I had a PS2 instead of an Xbox. I was late to the party on Reach, so I think I was never able to enjoy it as much as I would have if I had played Halo before.
