Once I read "its the plant that Nemo lives in!" I tried to pronounce it and ended up with exactly the same stammer you got, which is usually how I get through words I can't pronounce, along with words I can pronounce but am trying to be cute about

I personally don't have any issues with common words, in fact most words (even complex ones) I can get when I take my time. Although I have had some rather embarrassing slip-ups particularly when I'm nervous or hyper. However I do have a friend who miss pronounces quite a few things, some of my favourites are: Weapon (he pronounces it as weapond) and Jason Statham, )he pronounces it Jaton Staton). I just laugh every time I hear it. Yell at him sometimes depending on my mood.

Really? I always just pronounce it like "an enemy" except all one word.

interesting for me always comes out instrasting, no matter how much i say it, and in the words prodigy and tradegy i always gett the g and d mixed up and end up saying, "progidy" or "tradigy

I have trouble with thesaurus. And when I was younger I could not pronounce 'hospital' for some odd reason. I remember working out that I was trying to say the syllables out of order hos-tal-pil so it always came out funny, like hostapiddle. I should have charged myself for speech therapy on that one.

Since some other people are talking about strange pronunciations, I've noticed a lot of Americans like to pronounce 'forward' as 'foward'. I'm hearing it on a lot of TV programmes. Or should I say programs?

I always thought it was hilarious how my girlfriend cant say 'smooth' it always comes out as 'smoove' although she is black....so thats excused I guess

Three. It comes out like "free". I have no trouble with "th" in any other word, and I've had this problem since kindergarten. With context you can understand it, but lots of people point it out just to annoy me.
