I had multiple tests and conversations with a psychologist, they interviewed my mother about my childhood and then talked everything over with a team of psychologists. I doubt that's the same in every country or even every organisation within the same country, but they were pretty rigorous in my case.McElroy said:How do they test for Asperger's (and other similar stuff, I guess) at the doctor's? A survey and...?
I reckon that depends on the severity of the case yes. Sometimes it 'flares up' in my case when stress and whatnot becomes too high but I'm very aware of it. All that really is is the Asperger's becoming, well, noticeable. Most people wouldn't know I have Asperger's otherwise. So I wouldn't call them episodes really.Do aspies have what's commonly called autistic episodes or is that reserved for more severe cases?
I want to punch the people who say that in the face so badly.thebobmaster said:And yes, I was diagnosed, back in high school, so I'm not just saying "socially inept=Asperger's".
I misread that as a critical failure on decent cinnamon rolls. Need to stop going to bed at 3 AM...Kaleion said:Not that I know of but then again I've never been to a psychologist or psychiatrist, in any case I don't think so, I just have awful dice and always roll critical failure on detect intention rolls.
Well my baking has gotten pretty bad even though I used to be able to do it when I was a kid, so I guess that too.Secondhand Revenant said:I misread that as a critical failure on decent cinnamon rolls. Also never been diagnosed nor do I know of any indications that I have it
