"You're clear, move through the door and identify yourself to the Medicae on the other side." Spoke an unseen voice as the sprinklers stopped with the silver liquid and switched to water. After his hands had been washed, Dante tucked them into his sleeves and walked through the door with the others into another white room where two figures stood, a Techpriest and a Hospitaller.

"Identification codes please." Said the Medicae as Momaru and Sana walked off to one side to speak with the Techpriest. Dante waited for the others to announce theirs before he presented his.

"Delta Grade Psyker Dante Machaiah, formerly of the 13th Arcadian Shadowhawks Regiment. Currently member of Inquisitorial retinue under Solara Draco. Identification Code AAT-2306 Delta 399-120 Sigma."

Helena's mouth twisted up in a grim smirk. The same Hospitaller from before. The Father does like his jokes I suppose. She thought as her Sister's stepped forward and presented their identification codes. Helena stepped forward after her sister's had finished. "Retributor Helena Karr, of the Sister's of Battle. Serial Number 230-Epsilon 24601-0 Zeta."

The Hospitaller smiled from behind her mask "Interesting... It's probably a good thing you arrived after the shutdown then."
The tech priest took a few moments to process the minute details in the engrams before speaking "Fleet... Approved for service."

They then simultaneously said "move along" as a door to the left of the group opened. As they began walking towards it, the Hospitaller jabbed a needle into the spine of the Eversor as he turned his back on her. A painful burning sensation hit him as his arms and legs went limp and became unresponsive. Then a nice warm golden sensation filled him and made him feel at peace. His arms and legs became responsive and useful again as a golden hue blurred his vision. The sedative he had just been shot up with would keep him submissive for a couple of hours while the situation was sorted out.

On the other side of the door was a holding area. Three cells separated from the general area and several benches on the outside of them. In one of the cells was a man lying on a bed. He was eyeless and limbless and his flesh was entirely charred. His breathing was ragged and if any attempts to communicate were made it would be quickly realized that he was either unconscious or ignoring them.

As the party came inside, the door sealed behind them and over a vox speaker a woman spoke "Miss Draco we are discussing your... situation. You are advised to rest while we organize. If you require medicine or rations press the button on the wall and it will be delivered to you."
The sergeant bowed as best he could in his power armour without showing weakness and ordered a set of servitors to attend to the Ancient.
Fifteen minutes later...

A high pitched noise blared from the vox and the same voice as before came over the vox.
"Miss Draco. Inquisitor Thane, Inquisitor Cadence, Inquisitor Strillok, and Magos Horthon request your presence immediately."

A door at the other end of the room opened and a black clad Storm trooper came inside motioning for Solara to follow him.

Solara saw the man on the cot and could feel his psychic presence in the warp... It was her missing routine member and she nearly puked from what they had done to him. She fought off her emotions and held strong, knowing he'd be helped she got her authority back. Looking down at herself, she noticed she was beginning to give off a golden aura slightly . The inquisitor stood the entire time and thought long and hard. "We'll be safe. Dante, keep me informed about the others. And Lith... I'm sorry... I'll make it up to you once we're done here..." She said in a hushed tone to her routine and walked to the door. "I'm ready, and that should be Inquisitor Draco." She said, an air of confidence, pride and a sense of understanding with none of the usual smugness.
Sana was looking around and while not scared, definitely was put off as to why she was being held here with momaru. That's when the terminator spoke up. "I do not mean to speak I'll of these people as they are all good citizens of the imperium, but why are Lady Sana and myself being held in here? We hold the same amount of ties as Egerion holds to them." His voice boomed and could be felt reverberating in the walls.

The storm trooper nodded to Solara before looking straight into Momaru's eyes and speaking "You are witnesses to the events on the surface and the third group recovered from it. The Ancient is being held as well, the only difference is we have reason to still trust him."

Outside the door was a full squad of storm troopers. Solara was led into the outer corridor and escorted by them.

"There is no reason to not trust one of the emperor's first." Momaru said before the storm trooper closed the door.
A few minutes later the woman came over the vox again.
"I have been asked to relay that Miss Draco has asked for the Psyker... Dante calm the prisoner... Anthony in the cell so that Rune Priest... Sana may work on him. She has asked for the Rune Priest to make him mobile. I have been instructed to make resources available for any procedures that may be required."

Two minutes later a storm trooper opened the door, pushed a crate filled with components through, and closed it again.

Roughly a quarter of an hour had passed after the group had been "escorted" to the holding cells whilst the powers that be decided what to do with them. In that time, Dante had spent it mostly sitting down on the floor with his back propped up against one of the benches, quietly thinking of what was going on. A high pitched noise soon blared out of the vox speakers.

"Miss Draco. Inquisitor Thane, Inquisitor Cadence, Inquisitor Strillok, and Magos Horthon request your presence immediately." It was followed by a black clad Storm Trooper appearing in the now open doorway, motioning for the Inquisitor to follow. "We'll be safe. Dante, keep me informed about the others. And Lith... I'm sorry... I'll make it up to you once we're done here..." She said with an air of confidence in her voice.

"Don't worry m'lady, we shall all be rooting for you here." Dante then added a thumbs up as the pair left the room. A few minutes later, the vox blared out once more.

"I have been asked to relay that Miss Draco has asked for the Psyker... Dante calm the prisoner... Anthony in the cell so that Rune Priest... Sana may work on him. She has asked for the Rune Priest to make him mobile. I have been instructed to make resources available for any procedures that may be required." Two minutes later, a storm trooper came in pushing a rather large crate of components that made little to no sense to Dante, but no doubt that the Techpriest could make use of them.

Dante got up from his sitting position and made his way over to the cell holding their ailing comrade. Suffice to say, it wasn't a pretty sight what he saw; Anthony was more corpse now than man, well, what little man there was left given the lack of limbs, even after his body was mostly replaced with augmetics. It took the Psyker a few moments to regain his sense of composure, and realised the scale of the task before him.

"Well... this is going to be interesting." Dante thought aloud, as he began to think on how best to calm Anthony.

"Hmm, I could use my powers to convert the negative feelings of the group given the situation we find ourselves in, and turning that into some sort of soothing melody or even hope that we will make it out of this alive. It might just work, only one way to find out though." He then prepared himself by stretching out his neck and arm muscles, then breathed slowly for a few moments before his eyes glowed slightly, his powers were now in effect.

Everyone else in the room would begin to hear a gentle, soothing melody in their heads, as their fears began to slowly melt away. Meanwhile, Dante was collecting these fears and turning them into something calm and peaceful, and began feeding this into Anthony, with any luck, the pain that the Techpriest would be relieved, allowing Sana to perform her duties.

Urd had parked her self by Dante, and just waited.

A short time later, a message came over the Vox, orders for Dante relayed from Solara, apparently the charred corpse was Anthony, their missing member. She just shook her head, if she had any doubt they where just waiting to die before, that was gone now. For some reason she found that oddly calming, more so then the music Dante was pumping into her head.

She thought it was music anyway...

With nothing else to do for now, she decided to get up and poke Lith, so she did, in the shoulder. "Sup ... how you holden up?" she asked, wanting to she how her friend was doing.

"Lith... I'm sorry... I'll make it up to you once we're done here..."

She heard Solara, but made not reply. The only things she could think to say to the younger Inquisitor involved streams of profanity that could make a Penal Legion guardsman blush, and since now was not the time for such things...she chose silence, letting her mind wander.

"Sup ... how you hold'n up?"

"What!?" She snapped, as a voice intruded, but upon seeing who it was, she flushed slightly with embarrassment. "Sorry Urd," She said finally. "Didn't mean to snap at you...I'm holding up okay, I guess...how 'bout yourself?"

"you don't sound ok" Urd said, then shrugged "All things considered, fine I guess. I can naturally think of better things to do then waste more of my time talking to some Inquisitor." Urd said, she had more she was gonna say about her disapproval of this whole thing, but she decided to save that to say directly to the Inquisitors them selves.

"I suppose the up side of this is, one way or another, it's not likely we'll need to go through this BS again"

Anthony screamed for a moment before thoughts frantically began to pour from his mind They're not us, they're all around us, they look like us, but they aren't us. Colourless bodies and minds with souls coloured in things that shouldn't be. Burning bodies and minds line their homes while he watches. They bring you close and then they break you. Nothing will stop and everything will end! then a bolt of lightning shot from his torso into the ceiling accompanied by maniacal laughter, which stopped suddenly after five seconds of it.

He turned his head towards Dante and began for lack of better words eyelessly staring into his eyes.

Though Anthony couldn't recognize him he felt familiar Don't let them in, they never leave.
A group of tech priests wandered inside the hangar and began to dismantle the Thunderhawks for a few minutes before leaving just as suddenly as they appeared.
A man in silver carapace armour walked into the holding area and looked over the group inside.
He stared at Helena for a moment before speaking "I suppose I should begin with you, follow me."

Helena scowled as a member of the witches group approached the burned lump of flesh at the center of the room. When the music started she grimaced and began to pray in her head to keep the music out. Though His enemies do surround His children, they shall not waver, for He is their strength. When the lump moved she wanted to end it's pitiful existence there. But from the look of the parts it was to be the life of a servitor sooner or later.

Her eyes shifted as the man in the silver armor walked in.

"I suppose I should begin with you, follow me."

"As you wish." She said with a bow of her head before headings towards the door.

Sana walked over to the crate and inspected the parts with disgust. It wasn't what she would have wanted to deal with, but it would have to do. She managed to locate a bit of sedative in a part and took it into a syringe. Taking the syringe, she brought it over to the wounded man corpse. "Listen, My name is Sana, i am going to fix you. just relax." she said before injecting him and putting the techie out.

She began to work on gathering his measurements, taking parts and reforging them and preparing to open his skull, using her mechandrite glove and fabricator gauntlet. Once she had her part done, she opened his skull, pulled out his old parts attatched to his brain and attached new cogitators to him. then she closed back up her head and sewed the skins shut.

That would make sure he was rather rational when he awoke later. however, she began to assemble an arm, forging each part specifically to fit the piece. she also built the other side as well, making the mirror construction for his new limbs. Truth be told, it was beyond the skill of 90% of the mechanicus, maybe more.

Dante immediately stepped away from Anthony in a hurry as the deteriorating Techpriest screamed for a moment before thoughts from his head began to flow freely into Dante's mind.

"They're not us, they're all around us, they look like us, but they aren't us. Colourless bodies and minds with souls coloured in things that shouldn't be. Burning bodies and minds line their homes while he watches. They bring you close and then they break you. Nothing will stop and everything will end!"

"Great, first the nonsensical nature of the Field Tribune's words, now th-" Dante immediately put his arms up to shield himself as a bolt of lighting shot out from Anthony's chest and fired into the ceiling, accompanied by maddening laughter, which stopped as soon as it arrived after a few seconds. Anthony then turned his head towards Dante, staring at the Psyker with cold "dead" eyes.

"Don't let them in, they never leave."

"*sigh* This day just keeps getting weirder doesn't it?" Dante asked rhetorically to himself after hearing that final message before Sana began operating on Anthony, crafting a replacement arm from the various component pieces and scraps of metal.

She assumed the 'music' she was hearing was a side effect of whatever Dante was doing it that poor bastard that'd been in here when they'd arrived. It sounded like it []should be calming, but it was having little effect on her mood.

"I suppose not," Lith replied to Urd, with a sigh. "And you're right...I'm not okay, in fact I'm pretty far from it." She could feel the anger starting to boil again, but she forced it back down again. Later "When we were just about to bug out, that **** in charge of the Bolter Bitches was slagging Lunette...and you know how I feel about people who insult my friends...well add that to all the other stuff that ****'d been doing to piss me off, I told that ***** off." Balling an armoured hand into a fist, she slammed it against the wall.

"And then!" She hissed. "Lara told me to back off, basically saying that only she was allowed to stand up for her mother's honour...that the fact that I was Lunette's friend didn't matter..."

Her growing tirade was cut short when an arc of electricity erupted from his chest. "BY THE EMPEROR!" She yelp, shifting away; instinctively she went for her weapons, only to smother a mental curse when of course she remembered she didn?t have them. Things seemed to settle down, but she kept her eyes on the body.

Egerion

Waiting in a corner of the hanger, Egerion had been running battle scenarios, re-fighting old wars, while he waited for the outcome of the Inquisition's questioning. His thoughts were disrupted by the entrance of a group of tech-priests. At first he figured they were simply doing some routine checks of the Thunderhawk, seeing as it had just returned from a 'hot' operations area, but such thoughts were dismissed when they began to dismantle the craft. Now why would they be doing such a thing? We never even got shot at, let alone hit by anything...what is going on here? They worked for a bit, removing various bit and pieces, before returning to where they had come from.

Urd simply listened to Lith vent about the slights toward Lunette from the leader of the SoB squad sent to basically get on their nerves far as Urd was concerned, that didn't surprise her. These Sisters where pretty much just like every other one she'd ever met, only she found them and their attitude insufferable now, what she did find surprising was what Solara apparently said. It didn't really sound like her, but before she could think of something to say, an electrical bolt shot out of the charred remains of Anthony.

One of Urd's wings reflexively moved to 'block' the bright light before it moved back behind her in its 'resting' position. Lith yelped but Urd just watched the body after the light show, even as that Sana girl started working on him.

The silver armoured acolyte led Helena from the room through the halls to an interrogation room, doors unlocked with an oaken table and chair set in the middle. In the far corners of the room were two people. In the left corner from the door was a woman, the witch hunter which Helena had seen giving the briefing to capture Solara before. In the right corner was a man in black robes with a green bionic left eye.

The acolyte sat down on one side of the table and directed her to sit down. He pulled a flask filled with strong smelling Amasec out, took a swig, and then offered it to Helena before speaking.

"You were deployed under my masters orders. You led the sisters which made contact with the Inquisitor on the ground. We ask that you explain what you have seen and give your opinion on whether or not she is to be trusted.
Anthony sat on his bed unconscious giving little in terms of thoughts. Inside him though during his examination by Sana odd chunks off glass were attached to the bionics inside his chest, though they appeared to serve no purpose they were wired to him and seemed to have fused with what they were connected to.
A group of black robed adepts walked from the door to the left of Egerion, where the group he had came with had previously exited. They walked up to Egerion and bowed. One lowered his hood displaying an ornate gas mask over his face.

He spoke "Ancient, I am acolyte Grant in service to Inquisitor Strillok. He has asked me to get your account of what happened on the ground and to receive your opinion on Inquisitor Draco and her retinue."
The unconscious sat upon their beds as adepts of all specializations looked them over puzzled. They were unsure what they were looking for or what was wrong with them. A magos biologis seconded to the fleet pulled a knife from his robes and began upon one of the women who had been recovered, unsure of her name or rank all he had to go on is that she had been exposed to an unknown weapon and that she was a skitarius from below. If the Inquisition was to succeed against the local heretics (as he had been told they were), then they would need to understand what they were doing.

Egerion

The actions of earlier the techpriests sat uneasily with Egerion, but for what reason he could not say. Though he had told the Deathwatch Brother-Sergeant the truth earlier, about disarming his storm bolter, he now re-armed it; not that he was truly expecting something, but it never hurt to prepare for such contingencies.

As he was mulling such thoughts over, another group of people appeared, though this one approached him.

"Ancient, I am Acolyte Grant in service to Inquisitor Strillok. He has asked me to get your account of what happened on the ground and to receive your opinion on Inquisitor Draco and her retinue."

"Greetings Acolyte." He replied. "After landing planet-side, I assisted an Imperial Guard force in repelling an Ork assault on their position, prior to moving in on the Ork encampment to neutralize the Warboss. Before I could carry out my mission though, I witnessed a Valkyrie get shot down and when I went to investigate, I encountered Veteran-Sergeant Momaru and Enginseer Sana. Once the three of us cleared the Ork threat, we received a transmission, from what turned out to be one of the members on Inquisitor Draco?s retinue. Once we linked up with the retinue, we ended up converging on the base where we were extracted from, as that was where the Inquisitor had sought shelter from the Tyranid threat in the area."

"As for my opinion of them? While the Inquisitor's decision to take an Eldar into her service does not sit well with me, I do understand that at times such measures may be necessary. Other than that, I have seen the familiarity that a group develops between themselves after spending an extremely long time together, and there does seem to be an underlying 'distrust' of the Imperium...but that may be a response to how Sister Helena and her Battle Sisters have been dealing with them. The Sisters seem to believe they are guilty of heresy, simply because of the way they arrived, which does not seem too dissimilar to how I was found; But my opinion of them? They are tired, at times discourteous, and lacking in formal discipline...in other words, just human."

As Solara left the door closed again. Solara was led through several corridors to a bright room with furnishing reminiscent of a court room.

Four figures sat in elevated positions on the far side of the room, each staring into Solara's eyes as she was directed to a seat. In order the figures were: a man wearing a black set of robes with a left eye replaced by a green bionic one, a bald man with a high degree of facial scarring wearing a suit of golden power armour, a woman that would be best described as a generic witch hunter with red bionic eyes, and a man wearing a red robe that is clearly a tech priest.

The man wearing the golden power armour, Inquisitor Thane, spoke first "For the record, please state your name."
"There is no reason to not trust one of the emperor's first." Momaru said before the storm trooper closed the door.
Solara nodded and took her seat. "Solara Atia Draco, Acolyte and heir to the now deceased Inquisitor Lunette Alethia Draco and adoptive daughter of the formerly mentioned as well. I offer any information you might be requesting." Solara said to them, giving a slight bow as they were her superiors.

Inquisitor Thane took a moment to think before speaking "Miss Draco, your adept... nearly killed himself before he said anything useful. Would you mind explaining how you came to be in the hulk that crashed into our warzone?"

"So long as my adept is given proper apothecary attention and restored to full helth and given proper limbs again, i shall give any and all info you require. I have nothing to hide, but i do care for my routine and the greater good of the Imperium. To see a member of our Society being tortured over information that was already being retrieved is a wrong that needs to be righted. I do think it's a small request in exchange for all you need to know." she said to them, confidently and concerned for the well being of her friend.

"We did not torture him. He opened fire on a squad of sororitas and his limbs were blown off while they were capturing him. During interrogation he tried to electrocute one of Inquisitor Cadence's acolytes, one of his capacitors blew and it damaged his brain. In his deranged state of mind he then proceeded to attempt to murder Inquisitor Cadence with a bolt of electricity, so we were forced to remove his current limiter. During his third interrogation while Magos Horthon attempted to reason with him he fried his skin and exploded his eyes trying to electrocute the floor. The only responses we can get out of him at this point are in broken T'au."

He paused to let that sink in.

"We've done our best to stabilize him but we are not risking any more of our staff on repairing him until we have a guarantee of compliance."

"Hmmm.... I have no idea what he could possibly mean by T'au... we never encountered any in our mission and he was functioning fine enough to eject our pods from the ship we were on in cryo tubes. I feintly remember seeing him working to save the rest of us as i was coming out of a haze..." Solara explained to the gathered council. She was genuinely thinking of what he could mean.

"Since he was functioning fine up until impact, he must have suffered brain damage, since there was no time to get into a pod and eject from the ship... I'm truly amazed he survived impact. Please tell my Psyker, Dante, to communicate with him telepathically. Tell him to explain that i'm speaking with you and sorting out this mess for us. and tell Dante to tell Anthony to let the techpriests help him. Sana is a rather fine aspiring rune priest who should be able to repair him if given the resources." the inquisitor said to them.

"Now... Onto how me and my routine wound up in that hulk. A number of years ago, maybe a couple, My Mother, Lunette was assigned to collect people found to be immune to the warp. Not necessarily negative grade psykers, but those found to be highly resistant to the warp. We gathered everyone from a janitor to a Daughter of Russ." she said then paused, waiting a minute.

"I cannot explain the list we were given, but we ventured into the eye of terror none the less. Surgical strike team? Reconnaissance? i don't know. The ship's machine spirit was the only one with the destination known and we lost him when the void shields went down and we were boarded by servants of chaos." she said to them and explained thoroughly.

"They were servants of slaanesh and we destroyed them as the set foot on the imperium's ship. we took heavy losses and were left with my routine as you see in that holding area and maybe 20 crew members of the already skeleton crewed ship." solara continued the story.

"Some of them died after we appeared above an unknown planet. We descended and found it to be a crumpled eldar world, from a time before their current state. It was ruled by chaos and we were only on the surface for a brief number of days." she said and kept herself stone faced despite emotions attempting to surge through her.

"That was when we lost Lunette. She had made me her replacement Inquisitor prior to descending the planet and gave herself to fight off chaos space marines loyal to Slaanesh. We were at the drop ship when she came staggering back to us... taint beginning to grow in her. Before it could take hold, i put her down while she still served the imperium." she said, taking a minute to let it sink in and recollect her thoughts.

"During that brief planetside stay, i picked up the eldar slave i have with me, a solitaire who helped us in the time after we left the planet. She is an invaluable resource to fighting chaos as she has access to the black library and can retrieve info we need. However, this is no more heretical then when the Blood Angels truced with and fought alongside the necrons against the tyranids." she said, explaining her reasoning for keeping the xeno in her party.

"After that, we were boarded once more, fighting them off one last time before jumping blindly with the navigator and helmsmen dead. With no idea on where we were going, we settled into the pods, the routine with surviving members of the crew volunteering to stay awake and protect us for as long as they lived and survived. After that time, we must have become lodged in the space hulk and wound up on the planet." she said and finished her explanation. "Is there any other information you may require? There are some things i cannot answer because i have never known to begin with, but i will try to the best of my ability regardless."

"Interesting..." he paused and motioned to a nearby blue robed adept who then ran out of the room.

"You say your mother put you through the rite of ascension before she fell to taint? Do you have any evidence that your claimed authority is legitimate?"

"The entirety of my routine as well as several copies of the codes necessary to transmit to Holy Terra to automatically Authenticate it with her signature she left to me. Inquisitor Lunette also named myself as her Heir to her position in a final updated report before we left on said mission. I am not mentioned by name but rather as "her acolyte". I can confirm this as she had me proof read it before she sent it out." Solara said, producing a small data slate from her person and holding it out to be retrieved and brought to the council.

"I assure you everything is in order for the transfer of power from her name to my own." The inquisitor to be said with a slight bow.

A blue robed adept walked over and retrieved the data slate, bringing it to the Magos.

Inquisitor Thane spoke again "We will get to that in time-"

The witch hunter, Inquisitor Cadence spoke interrupting Thane "She has been travelling with a xenos and allowed it to hide itself on board unguarded. Her companions carry heresies with them and one carried them inside himself. How can we trust her!"

Inquisitor Thane spoke "Calm yourself she has already explained herself-"

The man in the black robes, Inquisitor Strillok spoke interrupting Thane "Their Adept carried licenses and was spoken of highly by my contacts Cadence."

Cadence spoke again "Papers do NOT justify HERESY!"

Strillok said "His work was sancti-"

Candence yelled "He was a HERETEK!"

Thane screamed over them "QUIET! The legality of xenotech isn't in question right now."

He stared into Solara's eyes "Cadence has a point though. You say you recovered an Eldar from a tainted world. It wasn't recovered with you. Where is it?"

"Before the doors of the dropship opened, she disappeared into the shadows. I can afirm that your psykers would feel her presence. She is not in the base and knows better than to snoop around an imperium base. She could die from something labeled as an accident while i still have use of her and the access to the black library." Solara explained to them, showing no signs of taint in herself.

"If it's any condolence to your nerves Witch Hunter, my mother was a Cannoness Preceptor prior to her days as an inquisitor on the black ships. I have no intent of assisting chaos in any form." the girl said looking up at the witch hunter.

"And i can explain the Xenotech and why it is being used." she began once more. "The armoury was partially taken out on the first boarding and on the second boarding it had been fully taken out. We needed weapons if we were going to survive. If you would wish to have the technology to do as you please, be it destroy, research, you may take it once this is over. I just would like to be present when it is being taken as to make sure everything is in order." she said, adressing the magos.

While the witch hunter looked thoroughly unimpressed. The red robed tech priest, Magos Horthon spoke "The medicae team has already reported on the your retinue. Besides the singing spear, the rest is not of interest currently. The disturbing matter was the sheer amount of unidentified and jury-rigged components found inside your tech priest in the few times we were able to perform surgery on him."

While he was speaking, Thane was ordering one of his acolytes to accompany sweep teams to recover the Eldar from the Transports.

As the yellow robed adept ran off to deal with the Xenos, Thane spoke to Solara again "Is there anything we will need to know to prevent her from attacking us on contact?"

"He made changes to himself as he saw fit. I had to stop him from labotomizing the remaining crew and turning them into servitors. I think i had finally gotten the idea out of his head before we went to sleep. But as to the nature of unknown devices, only he can answer that, which i shall have him do once he is recovered, you have my word." Solara explained, then heard they were going to fetch Titania.

"I'm sorry, but i think you have misunderstood me, i blame myself on improper wording. She is not on this station, moon if you'd prefer to call it what it is. Her presence in the warp, as foul as it may be, isn't in this station despite coming with us. She is probably in the web way, waiting until it is safe to come back out. She may be a xeno, but she knows better than to come into a fully armed and operational Imperial Battle station." Solara explained once more, not wanting to leave another misunderstanding to chance.

"She is a roamer then..." he took a moment to use his subvocals to order his acolyte to call off the search.

Showing disgust Cadence stood and walked from the room, with mild amusement on the face of Strillok as she left but clear frustration shown on Thane's.

Thane spoke "She wanted us to hang you immediately for having arrived in the hulk."

The Magos looked at Thane and spoke "We'll need time to authenticate the codes with the enclave because of the cloud."

Strillok looked at Thane and spoke "Cadence will want to drag her associates through questioning."

Thane took a moment to think before speaking "You have permission to run oversight." He paused "Miss Draco my psykers will need to examine you for taint before we can begin to release you. If you resist them they will cause damage. If you do not consent you will be imprisoned and submitted to the same procedures you would have been submitted to anyway. Do you consent?"

"I do consent and thank you for sparing my life to give me a fair questioning. However, i fear not for myself, but for the psykers you will have examining me. My files are not correct in my grade because of the tendency witch hunters have to kill anything even approaching close to a beta level on sight, let alone above it." Solara replied.
"And please make sure none of my routine members are harmed by the witch hunter... i know their... methods... are extreme in more cases than less." she vocalized her concern to the remaining inquisitors.

Thane looked at her and pointed to the door where several yellow robed adepts were now congregating. Their thoughts if examined would be staticy and unreadable, though their auras would make it clear they were psykers.

One opened the door and then Thane spoke again "They will escort you to your examination, if you follow them."

Strillok stood and bowed before walking away and leaving through a side door of the room.

Solara nodded and gave a little bow before she walked off, following the adepts. "I hope the others are fairing well..." the inquisitor said, not wanting to use telepathy and give them a reason to call her a conspirator.

The yellow robed psykers led Solara to a cell covered in various psychic artifices. They sat her down and fitted an odd oaken helmet over her head. "Due to the shadow we had to get creative to stop them from overwhelming us." an image of nerve stapling entered her mind, a process violent and destructive to the body and mind, used in prisons to prevent revolts, the use by these psykers was unknown however "This device will keep your mind open to our weakness." A piece was slid over her eyes and she seemed to go blind and deaf to the outside world simultaneously. It then felt as if a psychic choir of fifty were combing her mind.

She closed her eyes and relaxed into the chair. She splayed open her entire mind to the psykers, everything from her childhood on the backwater planet, running and hiding from the others on the planet. All while struggling to survive, up until the current point sitting on the chair. Before them was displayed a massive beast of warp power, constrained by golden chains that solara had willed into her obeying. They could sense that it was all a part of her, and she was restraining herself for their safety. However, in the midst of warp power, they could sense the holy power of the emperor himself.

Helena shook her head at the offer. She did not care for alcohol of any kind. It weakened the mind and made it more susceptible.

"You were deployed under my masters orders. You led the sisters which made contact with the Inquisitor on the ground. We ask that you explain what you have seen and give your opinion on whether or not she is to be trusted."

Helena grimaced at the thought of the Witch's retinue. "What I've seen is possibly the worst retinue in the Imperium. Arrogant, stubborn, paranoid of anyone from the Empire, and yet they trust an Eldar of all creatures to watch their backs. The Inquisitor herself is an Alpha grade psyker, as I'm sure my lord knows. She is far too dangerous to let wander the galaxy free without at least proper high ranking supervision. The best course of action would be to end her now or make sure she is fully under control. The rest seem to just be people who put their trust in the wrong person. Except the guards woman. She seems to be the most volatile of the group. Almost cultist like fanaticism towards the Inquisitor's mother and the Inquisitor herself. She also has greater disrespect for anyone not of her group than the others, openly mocking and insulting me and my sister's. I would have ended her on sight if I thought we could have handled an Alpha grade psyker."

Helena scowled and crossed her arms. "But...despite all that stands against them, they do remain faithful to the Emperor. And they could all remain useful in one way or another. Except the Eldar, that one should have all her weapons stripped from her and either tossed out the airlock or incinerated."

The acolyte took a moment to wait as a scribe completed recording, he then spoke to the Ancient "Interesting. Apologies, but my inquisitor hadn't bothered to brief me on you. Would it be wrong to ask you how you were found?"
The witch hunter in the corner listened intently and began to sweat as she heard alpha grade. She spoke when Helena was done cutting over the acolyte who was about to continue.
"What do you mean alpha grade?!"

The man in the black robes (Inquisitor Strillok) then spoke "I'm sure she's mistaken."

The witch hunter pulled a bolt pistol from its holster and started marching away.

Strillok pulled a plasma pistol from its holster and followed her, muttering in a subvocal implant.

The acolyte looked at Helena as they both walked off and spoke to her "My master appears to have gotten all she needs from you. Apologies for holding you with them, we're going to release your squad. I have been told a barracks has been prepared for you. We advise you rest until you receive your next orders." He then pulled a dataslate from a sack next to his chair and handed it to Helena, it was a map of the area and directions to a barracks.
A group of storm troopers came inside the detainment room and escorted the sisters from it, directing them to a barracks.
The psykers examining Solara began to reinforce the entrance to the interrogation cell with psychic energy, acting upon a warning they had received as bolts began to explode against it.
A pair of storm troopers came to the detainment room and ordered Urd to follow them, they then proceeded to escort her to an interrogation cell. Inside was an oaken table and two chairs. Sitting in one of the chairs was an elderly man in a blue robe.

He directed her to sit and then spoke to her "I have been asked to question you. We have been told you were lost in the warp due to a transit accident by your inquisitor, but beyond that she was unwilling to say. Could you please enlighten me as to how you came to be here?"
