"I'm not sure how we'd go about that honestly" Urd started as she sat down in front of Helena "Firstly, as we've covered there's the matter of less then optimal combination of her age and power, but more then that, how do we teacher her to wield her powers with more precision when non of us are on, or even close enough to her level to offer any meaningful advice. It'd be like a fresh requite trying offer us advice on proper Chainsword techniques." Urd explained "Another problem might be we, her Routine, are just to close, and have been through to much together. So maybe you or Captain Egerion stepping in and saying something might be better, maybe the Captain more then you, just due to his age and him having actually stood with the and spoken to Emperor while he was with us."

After a few hours of the various groups being onboard the ship dropped into the warp. The lights inside the ship turned a shade of red for ease of visibility and security personnel reshuffled as per protocol. A voice came over the voxspeakers in the crew corridors, clearly synthesized. "Protocols Nine through Fifteen are in effect, anyone other than retainers who are caught outside designated areas will be thrown in stasis during the course."

A guard in the barracks approached the group. "My lord had asked me to relay that we are being moved to a coordination point out of system until we have determined a solution for the situation in system. If you require anything a vox unit has been prepared for you to contact the retainer units." A moment later a servitor moved into the barracks carrying a crate, it had the previously requested supplies. The guard spoke again "Apologies, I must head to my station." He then walked away with the servitor in tow.

It was a mostly uneventful transit.

[hr]

After what felt like a month, but was more likely a week the ship dropped out of the warp and crew routines went back to normal. Egerion was pulled out of Stasis and the various groups were called to a slightly more decorated hangar than the one in which they had arrived. Inquisitor Thane was standing near the center waiting for them to arrive. Several of his guards standing around the room.

As the group was moved into the bay he began to speak. "My lord has requested that you are moved planetside while a situation onboard is resolved." he paused thinking about the spiral horrors he had witnessed an hour ago "a local unit has agreed to keep watch over you while we determine-" he paused again "how to proceed."

Lith

During the Warp transit, Lith maintained her 'detachment' to Solara. She still fulfilled her role a bodyguard to the young Inquisitor diligently, but there was none of the familiarity of before. She only used formal means of address when she spoke with Solara, and when she did sleep, she retired to a vacant room by herself.

Now standing in the hanger, she was positioned precisely where an Inquisitor's bodyguard should be; on the right side, once full pace behind.

"My lord has requested that you are moved planetside while a situation on-board is resolved. A local unit has agreed to keep watch over you while we determine- how to proceed."

Fan-fucking-tastic...All this time and they're still unsure wither or not they should space us.

[hr]

Egerion

Egerion never liked going into stasis; sure he understood the practicality and need, but still he did not like it, not since he went to sleep once and awoke to find 10,000 years had passed, the thing he had dedicated his life to was now a rotting shell of its former glory, and the man he loved like a father had been betrayed and killed by his own son.

"My lord has requested that you are moved planetside while a situation on-board is resolved. A local unit has agreed to keep watch over you while we determine- how to proceed."

That was most concerning, but there was little he could do about it. His expertise was in fighting xenos not Chaos, and like the previous incursion, he was pretty much a prisoner of his location. "Inquisitor Thane," He rumbled from the back of the hanger. "What is the situation planteside? It is beyond hope that our current location has not yet received some of the taint that has arrived on Drisania"

Sana and Momaru followed into the hangar. Sana was walking with anthony, making sure her new mechandrites (much better than the mechanical graspers and solid steel arms with joints) he now had the mechanical tendrils coming out of his back, much like Sana's own. He was back functioning at 100% after Sana was finished with him during the trip. "Well, i hope the new body is ok..." she said to him with a soft smile.

[hr]

Solara on the other hand, wasn't at 100%. She had gotten the nightmares again and was physically exausted from the horrid sleep she had been getting. In her time awake during recovery, she had been working on a small box. It was made of some of her former armor(of which she had gotten replaced and fixed.).

"With... all do respect inquisitor... we have been proven to be untainted..." Solara brought up. "We shall respect your lord's wishes though." she said and walked onto the Thunderhawk, taking a seat.
[hr]

Titania walked out of the thunderhawk (having never walked in it in the first place.) and walked up to Lith. She removed her mask to speak to her, something that was done rarely if ever. "Lithian. Solara had given this to me to give to you." she said and held out the box solara had been working on.
"No matter the timing, she left it up to me to decide when to give it to you, and we're still in an unknown situation. I'd rather this be given to you before any of us are lined up on the chopping block." the Eldar said, taking one of lith's hand and shoving the box into it. "She couldn't give it to you herself, since she's been dealing with her nightmare issues and has felt bad about what she did to you. It may seem weak boned to have me do this, but she couldn't hold together any sort of dignified appearance to present herself to you." she said and The box opened in lith's hand, revealing a golden ring with a purple gemstone in the middle, matching lith's eyes.

"She misses the old you, and i think it's messing with her head too." the eldar finished and walked away from lith.

"Inquisitor Thane, What is the situation planteside? It is beyond hope that our current location has not yet received some of the taint that has arrived on Drisania?"

"We've moved out of range of the tyranid presence. However the locals are reporting their feral infestation has been attempting to organize to join the Waagh. They reported that they have the situation under control, but we've received reports from the commissariat that they're losing settlements in the north."

"With... all do respect inquisitor... we have been proven to be untainted... We shall respect your lord's wishes though."

"We're moving most of our crew planetside while we deal with this. It has nothing to do with mistrust."

[hr]

Anthony looked at Sana deeply for a moment before speaking "Thank you."

During the transitional period between systems, Dante had spent most of it reading what few tomes he could get with the limited access that the retinue had; mostly as a means to combat boredom more than any actual studying, though he did pick up a few useful bits of information.

Eventually though they had arrived at the new system, and the group had been moved to a rather well furnished and decorated hangar, with various banners, pennants and statuettes dedicated to Imperial service. "My lord has requested that you are moved planet-side while a situation on board is resolved." Inquisitor Than announced on their arrival, pausing then for a moment. "A local unit has agreed to keep watch over you while we determine-" He paused again "How to proceed."

As others were busy responding to this news, Dante caught a glimpse of Titania handing what looked like an ornately designed box over to Lithian, it opening a moment or two later, but he couldn't see what it was inside.

"We're moving most of our crew planet-side while we deal with this. It has nothing to do with mistrust."

"Inquisitor, with all due respect, might I be bold in asking what the situation on board is that requires our temporary move to ground?"

Thane looked at the psyker and decided it would be easier to tell the truth than mask it anymore. "A section of our Gellar field apparently breached and daemons of unknown classification infested three decks before it was repaired. We don't have the manpower or supplies to deal with them and we needed to drop out of the aether to contact reinforcements."

She greeted the Eldar's approach with her usual restrained contempt. She'd heed the xeno's advice on the battlefield, she didn't like to admit it but Titania was a formidable fighter, but away from combat she had little use for the knife-ear. Half distracted by the upcoming 'mission', and otherwise tuning the Eldar out, she only caught a few words...something about the Inquisitor wanting to speak with her?

The Harlequin handed her a box that opened on its own; she glanced at it for a brief moment, spotting some sort of trinket inside, before she snapped the box shut and tucked it into her armour...whatever it was, it could wait.

Listening to Inquisitor Thane answer the Ancient's question, she smiled. Orks, feral or otherwise, were a good, honest, stand up fight.

[hr]

Egerion

"We've moved out of range of the Tyranid presence. However the locals are reporting their feral infestation has been attempting to organize to join the Waagh. They reported that they have the situation under control, but we've received reports from the commissariat that they're losing settlements in the north."

"Orks, hmm." Egerion said, more to himself than anyone else. "So long as we can keep them from joining with the greater horde, they should not be too great a threat, barring their sheer numbers."

Solara watched the conversation between the two of them and she felt deeply saddened by lith's reaction. Then, hearing the reasons they were being moved off of ship, she decided she'd try and help. The inquisitor got up out of her seat, with amazingly less life than when she said down. "I'm volunteering myself to try and clear out these demons. I am trained and a part of Ordo Herecticus. Fighting cultists and daemons is in my M.O." she said, still not at 100% but well enough to feel comfortable wielding her warp abilities and fighting.

"Xenos are not my specialty." she said to the inquisitor, cracking her neck and taking her spear off of her back. She gave no mind to lith and was ready kill something, she even had 'that' kind of stare in her eyes; when she was ready for something to die and for it to be on the end of her spear.

[hr]

Sana smiled at Anthony. "It's no problem, i enjoy working with machines. Most of it comes naturally, so if you need anything, don't be afraid to ask. i am a breath away from becoming a rune priest." She smiled back at anthony.

"I'm with Solara" Urd said, having been silent since entering the hanger "We in her routine as well has Solara her self are all better suited for killing Demons then hunting Xenos, besides, it's only a few decks, shouldn't take that long to get things under control, if not cleared out." Chances where, if they where just now hearing about this it was likely just a bunch of cannon fodder demons.

Lith made a bit of a face when Solara spoke up. She'd kind of been looking forward to a stand up fight against Orks, but she?d promised Lunette that she'd always watch out for Solara...so wherever she went, Lithian would follow.

That said, she would've followed Solara even without her promise to Lunette. The past little while Solara seemed off her game, and going into a fight like that had the potential to get one's self killed. She may not need me any more...but it'd still hurt if something got her... Though she effectively masked it behind her stoic 'veteran Sergeant' persona, the time away from Solara left her feeling hollow inside.

Helena sighed. It seems the larger woman, Urd if Helena remembered right, had been correct. Her heart and spirit were in the right place, her head was not she would not be able to defeat much in her condition. Of course Urd volunteering to join her wasn't helping. She stepped forward then. "Inquisitor Thane, if I may?" She said with a bow. She turned and glared at Solara. "If you go you will be a bigger fool than even I thought possible. Look at yourself, you can barely stand. and you think to take on an unknown amount of daemons." She snorted. "Get back on the Thunderhawk girl, there will be plenty of daemons left for you at a later date."

____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Mara nearly gaped as Helena told Inquisitor Solara to stand down. And with Lady Urd standing right beside her. Mara knew that Urd and Helena had talked back in the barracks some but surly they would not have such a close relationship already that Urd wouldn't threaten Helena. Then things would get bad fast. She took a step back, closer to Lord Mamoru and Lord Egerion. If things went to far south, she would side with them.

"Inquisitor Thane, if I may?" Helena asked the Inquisitor with a courteous bow, and she then turned to face Solara with a glare. "If you go you will be a bigger fool than even I thought possible. Look at yourself, you can barely stand. And you think to take on an unknown amount of daemons." She then gestured towards the Thunderhawks. "Get back on the Thunderhawk girl, there will be plenty of daemons left for you at a later date."

Meanwhile, Dante had been surveying the surroundings, the hood of his coat slightly pulled over his eyes as he leaned on a nearby support column. As his focus turned towards the Inquisitor Thane, he felt a sense of uneasiness about the man, as if he had felt, or seen something that troubled him; connected to the Daemons perhaps?

"Despite past grievances with her, I have to agree with Retributor Karr. It would not end well for us if we were to follow to where these Daemons are currently residing. Yes, not end well indeed. Chances of survival if we were to encounter them? Non-existent. We may be proficient in the art of hunting Daemons; but if any of you value your lives, your very souls even, you would back down, now. Trust me when I say that a fate worse than death is assured by going down this path." Dante remarked, his arms cross, his voice sounding a little disturbed.

Urd was about to explain to Helena that she didn't know what she was talking about and give several very good reasons as to WHY this wasn't the same kind of 'thing' they spoken about earlier. But Dante spoke up, and spoke in a tone that sounded slightly unnerved. Needless to say, Dante handing out a warning of certain death, and with a tone that denoted actual fear of what was down there, resonated with Urd far more then Helena's rant.

Urd she stood there a moment. "Your sure of this?" Dante nodded, and Urd sighed. She hated running from a fight, and ever since she'd woken up that's all it really felt like they where doing, but suicide wasn't something she was keen on ether. Urd just shook her head "If Dante believes we would only be throwing our lives away, despite our ability in the realm of demon slaying, I will also suggest we leave the ship for now and deal with the lesser threat the Orks pose."

Thane looked at them listening to what each had to say before speaking. "Your psyker is correct." he paused "As it stands my lord has yet to determine how to deal with this and isn't willing to risk you as assets until we understand the situation." he looked at Solara directly and forced a smile "I thank you for the offer of assistance, but I can't give permission for that."

He limply lifted his arm and pointed at the entrance to the thunderhawk. "Now if you please."

Solara stopped and looked around at those around her. She wasn't using her psyker abilities to look at the ship since she had been recovering and told to avoid using them so she could heal. Closing her eyes, she reached out and sensed the demons in the ship and decided with Dante, it'd be a fight where a large majority of her routine wouldn't make it out of.

She opened her eyes and looked around at the group again, with a sigh she admitted defeat. "Yes, i shall have to agree with the opinion of living to fight another day." she said, putting her spear back on her back. "however, i must address a few things. Such as the eversor assassin. I'd like him transported down, since i could always use his abilities." the inquisitor said to thane, then focused on Helena. "Karr. You'd do well not to call me a girl again. Respect is earned, and if i had not staved off the wave of tyranids, or immobilize whatever happened to that techpriest, your squad would have been missing members or non existent. I'm not asking you to worship my feet or even like me. but i do ask you respect those you owe your life to." she said, then walked towards the thunderhawk.

However, solara stopped again infront of lith, she didn't even turn to her. "Lithian, i don't know how much you even listened to titania, but she's a member of the routine. As i somewhat said with Karr, you are going to respect her as she respects you. Listening to what she has to say is the smallest of things you could do to even slightly honor any respect in the routine. Sometimes i need her to convey important messages and if you're going to blow her off, then you're the issue, not her. I have little room for people who are arrogant in this routine and will get others killed. Do try to improve yourself, maybe you'd not be blinded by arrogance to those around you then." she said and continued up into the thunderhawk, taking a seat close to the cockpit and seeming distanced and less lifeful than when she had walked up into it.

Lith

Lith was smirking slightly when Solara chewed out Helena, but said smirk die when the Inquisitor turned her wrath on Lith.

"Lithian, I don't know how much you even listened to Titania, but she's a member of the retinue. As I somewhat said with Karr, you are going to respect her as she respects you. Listening to what she has to say is the smallest of things you could do to even slightly honor any respect in the retinue. "You know my feelings on that xenos...Inquisitor." She said coolly, keeping her voice low. "If you insist on keeping it around, I will listen to any message it carries on your behalf, but that thing will never have my respect." Following behind Solara, her face briefly in concern as she saw the listlessness in Solara's movement. Taking the seat across from her, Lith leant forward and kept her voice low. "Are you sure you're okay ma'am? Perhaps you expended more of your energy than you though..." She said, her quiet voice edged with genuine concern.

"Lith, you need to start registering the difference between emotional stress and concern, and physical stress and concern. If you can't tell I'm hurting inside then you don't deserve the ring I had Titania give to you. You probably didn't even register what she said on any level, or pay attention to the gift she gave." The inquisitor said, appearing angry throughout her statement, but then softening up to an a sad or almost crying state as her eyes got watery. "I miss the old you... Please just come back..." She said quietly, trying to fight back her emotions and retain her appearance.

Dante silently nodded in response as Inquisitor Thane confirmed what the Psyker had been sensing before asking them to get themselves on-board the Thunderhawks for departure. He could see though that tensions were rising rapidly between Solara and Lithian, and was surprised that Solara had raised her voice in anger, clearly something was up between the two of them; he didn't need his powers of Telepathy to see that.

He quickly followed suit after Lithian and got on board the Thunderhawk, taking a seat opposite the bodyguard in question. After getting himself comfortable, Dante tucked his arms up the sleeves of his coat as they were feeling a little bit cold. Whilst he caught bits of the conversation between Solara and Lithian, for the moment he decided not to get involved, not because he didn't want to; but rather he didn't want to make things worse between them by saying something that might upset them.

Though judging from how Solara looked as though she was about to burst the proverbial flood-banks with her tears, he wasn't quite sure about how he could make things worse.

Urd just sighed at the display between Solara and Lith, and boarded the Thunder Hawk, found a seat and sat down. She leaned back a bit, the wings on her suit reminding her of their presence, she sighed again, a replacement power core hadn't been constructed yet, not that she'd asked Anthony yet, near as she could tell he was still 'in recovery' to some degree or another, so she was leaving him be for the time being, before she asked for a new Plasma Core for her suit.

A request she was sure would be met with much anger from Anthony.
