"No Clue Egerion, but we have the psyker and i assume he's going to be the one giving directions, so he'll set us off and i'll just drive us there. cause even if we change direction, i'll be able to put us back on course." Sana said cheerfully in responce to egerion.

Solara nodded and walked over to the table. she had no clue how she was going to do this, but decided she'd help as best she could. her hands crackled with warp energy as she focused on the hole. The inquisitor put her hands on either side of the hole and crackles of warp lightning began to flow between them and into the man's body.

remove the poison... remove the poison... was all that was passing through her head. sure enough, the acid/poison in his veins began to retreat back to the hole. Behind the retreat, the areas that were damaged began to repair themselves. about two minutes later, there was a ball of the damaging substance flowing between her hands and her breathing was heavy and labored. The hole was gone and all the damage done had been repaired.

"Catch it!" she ordered, reaching her limit. One of the servitors moved in and used a metal bowl to catch it as solara let the ball drop. falling forwards, she fell onto her knees and was resting her head atop her arms. "By the emperor... that took allot out of me..." she said, resting and trying to regain her energy. But in the end, the man was fulled healed and repaired, with none of the biological effects from arcor's own healing.

"By the emperor... that took allot out of me..."

"Thankyou for that, I've already lost too many today."
He offered his hand out to her, intent on helping her up.
"If you want it, there should be beds a room or so over, food too, proper stuff if Vic was right."

This was the record recovered from the drop pod responsible for delivering squad designate Orion of the deathwatch.
One body was located amongst the wreckage, two survivors were recovered, four are still missing.
Another member, a holy dreadnought ancient, named Egerion attached to the squad was separated during the drop.
We lost contact with him after an unidentified space hulk dropped out of the warp into the atmosphere.
Your squad has been requisitioned for the purpose of making contact with the dreadnought.
If awake, your objective becomes to support it until exfiltration becomes possible.
If damaged, your objective becomes to make contact with the nearest Imperial forces and defend it until recovery is possible.
If you cannot locate it, you are to support imperial forces until recalled.
These were the orders passed onto him. He was told to ready himself and wait in his squads retrofitted Valkyrie, where his squad would be waiting. They were to fly to the original drop location of the dreadnought and ascertain his whereabouts through investigating the area by air or land.

Keal surveyed the men before him as the Valkyrie rocked. His friends, squadmates and soldiers. In the corner, there was Marc, carefully surveying his hot-shot long-las. Next to him sat Lentra, Urai and Sergi, armed with a plasma gun, flamer and grenade launcher respectively. The rest of his team, Braf, Lenon, Polis, Geoga and Davis all hefted their various hellguns and hot-shot lasguns. Keal still used the older Hellguns, as he placed more faith in them than the new hot-shot Lasguns. At least Keal knew he wouldn't be running out of charge any time soon.

He adjusted the grav-chute on his back and walked over to the front of the Valkyrie. He looked out the front, speaking with the pilot, "That's the drop-zone. There's no damned Dreadnought bu- Emperor Preserve. Keal looked out and saw the second Drop-pod that he was looking for. Grots were picking over the wreckage, and a dead Apothecary was staked to the side. Orks had desecrated these Marines. Keal shook his head, and told the pilot to move on.

They followed the wreck of an Ork base, with dead Orks piling high, "They've been through here, that's for sure." The pilot, Renald, spoke up.

"There, on the map. The outpost, some activity is coming from it. Perhaps they passed through here and moved to there?"

Keal smiled, and thanked the pilot. The Valkyrie tilted and began to gain speed, heading towards its target. He briefed his men, giving them the same speech his commander gave him, and his commander's commander gave him. He told them to check their grav-chutes and weapons. He told them they would be looking for a venerable Dreadnought, and a few men let out a cheer or a smile. Keal relayed the fate of Squad Orion to them a-

The Valkyrie begun to spin and Keal was thrown to the side of the aircraft. Outside, flak screamed and tore at the ship. "Go! Go! Go!" The back door slammed down as the pilot heard Keal shouted, and Keal sprinted out the back. Free-fall pulled him down just before his grav-chute kicked in. Behind him he heard his squad leap from the smoking craft, and they kicked their grav-chutes into action.

The Valkyrie spun and pulled away, speeding toward Imperial lands, trailing smoke. As his squad stabilized and dropped, he could see the Anti-Air. Some kind of filthy Ork contraption. There sat a salvaged and stolen Chimera dragging some kind of trailer with a massive set of flak cannons. An Ork was laughed and firing from the turret, and the ach-ach chased the Valkyrie. Keal shouted the order and the squad began their drop assault. Marc put a hot-shot right into the Ork's head, and shouts began to rise from the rest of them. Las began to rain and a blinding plasma blast left a smoldering pile on the ground. Keal tasted blood from the ancient tech and spat, dropping faster than he normally would.

As he collided with the ground, he rolled and sprang up, releasing a rain of hell into a charging Ork. Around him, his squad landing. At least Sergi had the thought of mind to be using his back-up auto-gun, so he didn't accidentally hurt his squad. Keal charged forward, un-strapping his shotgun. He leapt up onto the Chimera and kicked the hatch open. Inside was some hulking Ork, who looked like some kind of Mek. He threw Keal back just as Keal fired his shotgun. The Mek roared and emerged with blood pouring down his face. It leapt from the vehicle and towards Keal. Just as it's axe was to come down on Keal, a roaring flame consumed him and threw him away.

Keal stood up and rolled his shoulders, glad at the efficient attack, "Alright everyone, Lentra de-tatch that trailer. Braf, clear the Ork's corpses out. Everyone else, cover us and get loaded into this Chimera. If the Emperor is with us, this thing will carry us to our friends. Mount up and let's do this."

---------------------------------------------------------------------

A short while later, the Chimera bounced towards the outpost, just as a Rhino pulled out of a garage. Next to it stood his goal. The tall, hulking Dreadnought. Keal threw the hatch upon and stood up, waving to the Rhino. He keyed his vox and let a broadcast go on a local channel.

"This is Sergeant Keal Brathen, of the 414th Kasrkins. My squad and I have been tasked with finding Squad Orion and Ancient Micus. We already know the... fate, of Squad Orion, but I presume you are our goal. We requestioned this Chimera from some green-skins to get us here. Our orders are to now support you until exfiltration is available. What's your orders, Ancient?"

"I appreciate the offer, but i need to go speak with the musclebound blood rage killer." Solara said to Arco, taking his hand and standing up, clearly drained a bit from the experience. "I bid your men good health, but i need to go talk to him." she explained before leaving the room, her footsteps uneven.

Knowing it had been a bit since she had left the evesor alone, she hoped he would be atleast a bit more calm now. The girl walked out past the barrier setup inside the fortress and over to the assassin. "Hey..." she said standing a few feet away from him. "I would like to have a simple conversation with you over an offer. Think you can handle that?" she said to him.

Vym was mumbling to himself while his eyes peer outside. Waiting for any sign of trouble to spring into action. Wanting nothing more then to please the Emperor by ripping apart his foes. HE MUST DO IT. As Vym waits, he would hear someone walking behind him. Turning back to see the small girl talking to him from before as he paid her no mind. Twitching on and off as he continues to mumble in his low voice, to low to be heard.

"I would like to have a simple conversation with you over an offer. Think you can handle that?"

"Talking? All useless. I kill..I need to kill...The Emperor needs me to kill..wants me to kill his enemies..." Though his small voice in his head told him to give her a chance to 'explain.' Grunting as he then spits out. "BUT...I will..listen..for...offer..." Trying to put his words into setences as he flex his fingers faster. Eager to kill something, anything to state his blood lust.

"I know you have a... thing... for killing and i need a bodyguard. You're filling this position until my routine can arrive." She explained, taking a stance with her arms crossed. "I would like you to stay onboard as my bodyguard after they return. With my luck, i can promise you that you'll have plenty to kill, and have allot of fun doing it. But go into it knowing that there will be slow times with nothing to kill. I feel however, you'll be able to have enough self control to restrain yourself. Because i promise; the fights will be all much more worthwhile." she enticed him.

Lith

Lith found that the outpost was still well provisioned, and as a result its holding tanks were still almost full. Seems a shame to destroy all this...but can't let the greenies get their claws on this I guess. Activation a DeCon shower, she washed the muck and gore from her armour, before returning to the Rhino.

As she was re-equipping her weapons, she heard the rumble and clank of another vehicle approaching. Well there's no shooting so it's a friendly...I hope.

"This is Sergeant Keal Brathen, of the 414th Kasrkins. My squad and I have been tasked with finding Squad Orion and Ancient Micus. We already know the... fate, of Squad Orion, but I presume you are our goal. We requisitioned this Chimera from some green-skins to get us here. Our orders are to now support you until exfiltration is available. What's your orders, Ancient?"

"The fuck?" She muttered as a familiarly accented voice came over the vox. Chainsword, and las-weapons hung on her armour, and plasma gun in hand, she stepped back out to see an Ork salvaged Chimera sitting nearby with a Cadain sticking out of the top hatch. "Well fuck me sideways."

[hr]

Egerion

"No clue Egerion, but we have the psyker and I assume he's going to be the one giving directions, so he'll set us off and I'll just drive us there. 'Cause even if we change direction, I'll be able to put us back on course."

"Fair enough." He replied. "So, how is the Rhino? Any trouble getting it operat-" Stopping mid sentence as he picked up an approaching vehicle. Now I wish I still had those las-cannons. He thought as the Ork vehicle clattered into view. Bolters no good, but I still should be able to flip it....if only the armour drill worked. He was about to rush the smaller APC when he got a vox broadcast.

With a mental sigh of relief he replied. "Thank you Sgt Brathen...we are about to pull out with intention of extracting an Inquisitor, just as soon as we get an exact fix on her location. We also have several members of the Inquisitor's retinue here...including an Eldar." The disapproval was thick on his voice. "Assuming that...machine...is up to it, cover the right flank while we advance."

"Body..guard?" He ask as if he never heard of the word before. Twitching as the combat drugs were pumping into him. "I do not guard..." he was going to say more, but the tiny voice he heard over all the screaming ones told him to listen. If he follows her, the more he will be killing the ones who deserve it in the eyes of the Emperor. Looking at her into her eyes as he said, "but..bring me to where the Emperor needs me and I will kill everything that stands in his way!" He starts to mumble in a low voice 'Rip, tear shread, praise the emperor!'

"It's something that should wait until we've regrouped with 'lara." Lith said, giving Dante and Urd a sad little smile. Her nose then wrinkled a little bit, obviously she must have finally caught wind of the smell from the Ork viscera. "I think I'm going to go see if there's any water left, before we blow this place up...I'm pretty sure the Enginseer...Sana...would try and kick my ass if I got near her new toy smelling like this." And with that she was off.

"Your hiding something Lithian, something that must of made you angry, but also sad at the same time. Guess we'll find out later."

"I'm a go get the Ork goo off, see you at the tin cans." Said Urd as she too departed to find somewhere to wash. This just left Dante on his own, not sure of what to do now. After a moment of thought, he decided that he would simply sit down and just relax a while, as he had been pretty much active since the pod. Eventually though, he dozed off.

However, Dante was soon woken by the sounds of a moving vehicle rumbling off in the distance. Instinctively Dante pulled out his plasma pistol; he knew such a weapon wouldn't do much against the heavy armour of a vehicle, but it paid to be prepared. Standing up, Dante turned to where the sound of the vehicle was coming from. Peering behind a tree, he saw that it was a beaten up Chimera troop transport that looked as though it had been given an Orkish paint job. He considered firing upon it, when a broadcast came through on his Vox unit.

Our orders are to now support you until ex-filtration is available. What's your orders, Ancient?"

Well, at least I know this thing is still working; thought it got damaged during the descent in the cryo-pod. I wonder why it's own picking up the Kasrkin's signal though? Could be the terrain and dense forest coverage is limiting the range, or something else entirely. What would I know? I'm no Techpriest or an engineer. And Ancient? Must be referring to the Dreadnought Captain Micus. Best make myself known.

Dante then walked out of the forested area that was in, as he got closer, he could see a Guardsmen sticking out of the top of the Chimera, weapon at the ready. No one seemed to notice him at first, and it appeared he caught the end of a conversation.

"Assuming that...machine...is up to it, cover the right flank while we advance."

"Couldn't agree more Captain Micus, this Chimera has certainly seen better days, especially before the Orks got there green skinned mits on it." Dante remarked over vox as he took in the sight of the transport itself.

"Ah, apologies, it appears I have forgotten to introduce myself. Dante Machaiah. Sanctioned Psyker and member of Inquisitor Draco's retinue at your service."

"Understood ma'am."
He waited for her to walk off and yelled for servitors to help him fix his arm and leg.
Ven would be out for hours, his implants still shocked from the experience.

The leg was as simple as replacing some of the casing, but the arm...
Fried wires and nerves, broken pneumo systems and gears, melted casing...
It wouldn't be as pretty by the time it was fixed but he needed it functional.

Once the mechanisms were replaced, he settled on sage green plasteel pieces to patch the damaged casing of his bionics.
Not as strong as the original stuff, but he wouldn't be able to find a proper replacement until he was in a proper facility.

The next step was to find some flakboard to bolt over the fresh holes in his armour.
He found quite alot in a nearby storage room, the boltgun took slightly longer needing to search the toolbox in the surgeons station.

His suit was patched well enough, now he needed to check on his men.
He told Vicarious that the servitors were open enough to clean what was left of his arm.

Then he went to the armoury, he heard whistling as he approached.
From the doorway he could see Rain, covered from head to toe in flamers, meltas, and plasma weapons searching through a crate.
She turned as he began walking towards her.
"Sir..."
"Find anything interesting?"
"Yeah... yeah... one second."
She pulled several of the weapons held onto her by straps off and approached him, digging through pockets on her armour as she moved.
She stopped and eventually presented a heavily ornate pistol.
His eyes would have went wide if they still could
"I ah... found this in one of the lock ups, took me awhile to get it open."
"Is this what I think it is."
"I tested it and yes."
"Why in the hell would one be here?"
"No clue, I think one of the officers might have been hiding it though."
"Does anyone else know?"
"I haven't told anyone."
"Good, just... thanks, the overseer'll want to see this."
He checked the pistol, ejecting a fuel cell from it, and placing it in his pack.
"Carry on."
She immediately went back to strapping weapons to herself.

He rearmed himself from the bits of the armoury that hadn't been picked over yet, grabbing a merovech lasgun he saw and some laspacks for later as well. He then decided it would be in his best interest to check on the comms situation, he needed news.

Entering the main communications nexus he saw Sar, crouched, half inside a terminal.
"Good news?"
Sar pulled himself out immediately and turned towards Arcor.
"Sir... the undamaged arrays still aren't syncing, most of the internal systems aren't running. It's a mess."
"Are the landlines damaged?"
"No, they're still working, not much being sent though."
"Anything interesting, any news?"
"Yeah... I had the cogitators log anything sent since we got here."
He pointed at an interface terminal on the other side of the room,
"Over there."
"Good, carry on."
Sar went back into the terminal he was working on.

Arcor walked over to it and began to read the logged messages.

"Damnit. Sar when you're done in that panel read the logs."

Arcor stormed off to the surgeons station in time to find Vicarious having a new arm being fitted.
He stepped in long enough to say "Archangel's firing in twenty hours." before walking to the barracks.
Inside saw an opened crate filled with quality foodstuffs and bottles of what he assumed were liquor in the middle of the room.
Near that he saw several empty bottles and two of his troops sleeping in the same bed.

He silently shook his head and grabbed a bottle of malt liquor and a couple packages of food that looked appealing.
He walked out of the room, closing the door behind him for sake of decency.

He then walked to the garage bay where they entered, deciding it wouldn't be a bad place to settle until the shooting started.

Keal's eyes widen as the Ancient spoke, and he quickly returned, "Aye, I'll cover it. This pile of scrap should lug us there, it was ONCE Imperial tech, at least. The Ork's mainly used it to paint their fucking symbols and to lug some ach-ach." From the vehicle, he could hear hurried whispers or even shaky laughing. A damned DREADNOUGHT, they were fighting alongside a dreadnought!

From below, Sergi swore as he struggled with the controls, enlarged by Ork hands, but turned well enough to pull the Chimera up alongside the Rhino and Ancient. The Chimera coughed and trundled to a stop, cutting it's engines. They had to conserve fuel, Emperor knows how much the Green-skins left in it. As this was happening, Keal finally worked up the nerve to do it.

Keal looked back up, and quickly keyed up a second channel, to Ancient Micus, "Ah, Ancient, sir, I apologise for contacting you directly, but you said... Eldar? What the hell is an Eldar doing here? Is she, like, a slave, or just a regular, lying, dancing and cheating *****?"

While the newly arrived sergeant was busy, Lith made her way 'round to the back of the Chimera; trailing her armoured fingers across the hull. That is a damned shame. She thought, looking at the crude Ork scrawls on the APC. Reaching the back, she rapped on the troop hatch with an armoured knuckle.

"Aye, I'll cover it. This pile of scrap should lug us there; it was ONCE Imperial tech, at least. The Ork's mainly used it to paint their fucking symbols and to lug some ach-ach."

"I encountered an Engineseer, and her bodyguard not too long ago." He replied, gesturing to the Terminator still standing a bit behind him. "If I can tear her away from her newest toy, I will get her to look your vehicle over." Opening a channel to Sana, he also extended a finger and tapped on the top of the Rhino. "Little one, if you can spare a moment; we have just been joined by some more Guardsmen...seems they were looking for me. They stole a Chimera back from the Orks, and I would like you to check it out...make sure it is not just a liability."

"Ah, Ancient, sir, I apologise for contacting you directly, but you said... Eldar? What the hell is an Eldar doing here? Is she, like, a slave, or just a regular, lying, dancing and cheating *****?"

"No apologies needed Sergeant, unlike some of my...Brothers, I remember we all serve the same Imperium." He replied after a moment. "As for your question...I cannot say. It wears an Inquisitorial collar, but its status is unclear. Whether it is the Inquisitors slave, merely a pet, or an ally of convince is one of the questions I mean to ask Inquisitor Draco if and when we reach her."

Urd walked up beside Dante, freshly free of Ork goo, then turned to the Dread "The Inquisitor is in a base north of here with some Skiitarii, Dante will be able to give more accurate directions. If you and your people are ready to move out I'd like to be on our way now." She said, while eying the new IG in there midst curiously, she's heard the broad cast over the Vox, but had her doubts about the machine they where in "Or do we need to delay till your Tech Priest gets that hunk of scrap trying to pass as a transport our new Guardsmen are in up to code? Cause I take personal issue with 'deserting' perfectly good troops for asinine reasons." There was something in the way Urd said that final sentence that hinted she was talking from personal experience and not some honor code.

Just know, that if anything happens with this damned Inquisitor and her friends, I'll have your side."

Keal dropped back into the Chimera, pulling the top hatch shut. Lentra took his place in the gunner seat and Keal worked his way through the stinking vehicle to the back hatch. He hit the controls and the hatch dropped, to reveal someone that looked like a Sister of Battle.

"And who would you be? I presume you are another one of the Inquisitors to- bodyguards?"

"And who would you be? I presume you are another one of the Inquisitors to- bodyguards?"

"The Brass back home always said you Kasrkin were the best of us, and with a mind like that it's hard to see why not." Lith replied with a smirk, the scar on her face exaggerating it further. "I am...or was, at least, Sergeant Lithian Ortona of the 112th Shock Troops Regiment, 4th Company. I see you've already met Dante, our resident 'bolt magnet', there's a tall blond somewhere about named Urd, and she's a 'Daughter of Russ'." Seeing the confused look on the Sergeant's face, she chuckled a bit. "Fenrisian, and don't worry, I'd never heard of them either until I met her."

Her good mood faded, and she spat on the dirt, like she was trying to get rid of a bad taste. "Lastly we've got an Eldar Solitaire. Officially I must ask that you refrain from attacking it, as it is under the protection of Inquisitor Solara Draco...unofficially, if somebody splatters the **** across the battlefield I didn't see anything."

"The Brass back home always said you Kasrkin were the best of us, and with a mind like that it's hard to see why not. I am...or was, at least, Sergeant Lithian Ortona of the 112th Shock Troops Regiment, 4th Company."

Keal suddenly warmed up and a smile broke out. "Ah, it's good to hear that accent, Sergeant! It's been a while since you donned the Guardsmen kit, judging by that hulk of metal. At least my carapace is better than the Standard-Issue Flak." Keal smiled as he listened to her description of the other soldiers.

I see you've already met Dante, our resident 'bolt magnet', there's a tall blond somewhere about named Urd, and she's a 'Daughter of Russ'. Fenrisian, and don't worry, I'd never heard of them either until I met her. Lastly we've got an Eldar Solitaire. Officially I must ask that you refrain from attacking it, as it is under the protection of Inquisitor Solara Draco...unofficially, if somebody splatters the **** across the battlefield I didn't see anything."4

Keal was spilt on the thought of a pysker. On one hand, they were crazy, insane bastards that were exposed to the Warp. On the other, they could crush tanks with their mind. He wasn't sure which out-weighed the other. The Daughter of Russ sounded like yet another Inquisitorial pet, but Keal let rip a dark smile at the mention of the Eldar.

"Are you sure this shitty, Ork ruined vehicle can't... malfunction, during the drive? She just happened to be in the path when the controls broke?"

Keal shook his head, "No, Inquisitors have no sense of fun. Anyway, enough about the xenos, how about you? How'd you come to get, well, that. From Cadian to Sister of Battle? Frankly, power armour is too damned big. There's nothing better than being able to creep up and place a hot-shot in the back of a Traitor Marine. Fuckin' traitors."

"Okies! let me get out of here and i'll take a look at the thing." she said and soon enough, Sana's mechandrites hoisted her along out through the back of the rhino. It would surprise the guardsmen to see a techpriest that was so human looking, let alone what appeared to be a teenage girl. Using her fabricator gauntlet, she took care of the ork's spiky bits and attachments quickly then climbed inside to find a few of the guardsmen still in it.

"Hello!" she said cheerily and with a smile, climbing past and giving them a wave before opening the interior hatch to the motor and giving it a quick look over. She undid a few nuts and pulled part of the engine off, replacing it after she made sure the few vitals were inplace.

Sitting up, she looked around and found one of the bigger guys left in the squad and gestured to them. "Would you mind getitng me a couple of the jerry cans from the garage and filling them with fuel? i'd rather not waste anyone's time by doing it myself and taking time away from this old girl's needed checks." she asked him kindly.

The eldar came out a few minutes later, nodding towards urd to signify that the task had been complete. Almost immediately, the guradsmen and those around that were not used to her effects, felt a sense of... wrongness towards her. Titania could tell because a few of the guardsmen turned their heads towards her and their facial expression changed. She didn't care, it was normal for them to do it.

Momaru walked up to the group talking, his armor proudly displaying the oaths on one shoulder and the insignia of the mechanicus on the other. "Greetings guardsmen. The more forces we can gather the better." He said, looking down upon the men, a sense of respect coming from him. "I'm Veteran Sergent Momaru, 1st company of the II Astartes Legion." he said, extending his right arm out in a fist in greeting to the man.
"It's much easier to bump fists than to try to shake hands at this much of a size difference, i've found." he explained the gesture.

Lith gave Keal a wolfish grin at his 'offer'. "Don't tempt me...I may just take you up on that." Her smile softening, she looked from the Kasrkin Sgt, to his squad. "I don't know if you?ve dealt with Inquisitors much before, but Inquisitor Draco actually knows how to have fun." Before she could stop herself, her face flushed as memories of their 'fun'? came to mind. Curse me and my libido.

"Anyway, enough about the xenos, how about you? How'd you come to get, well, that. From Cadian to Sister of Battle? Frankly, power armour is too damned big. There's nothing better than being able to creep up and place a hot-shot in the back of a Traitor Marine. Fuckin' traitors."

"Me? A Sister? Hardly." She replied. "In fact, I'm pretty sure the first Sister I run into is going to be a bit...miffed...that I've nicked some of their kit." Seeing some rather incredulous looks, she laughed. "Long story short, I got pretty badly fucked up in a fight. After I got put back together, she gave me this armour to replace my old Flak kit...we were heading into some Class A shit on top of that so the armour was most welcome; and as for creeping?" She said raising a gauntlet, and slowly making a fist. "Not my style."

Lith watched as Sana appeared, and immediately went to work on the Chimera. As the Engineseer worked, stray...thoughts began to surface in Lith's mind. Damn it woman...learn some self control. Those thoughts were rapidly replaced by a familiar sense of unease. "Damn." She muttered, knowing exactly who it was. "I was hoping she'd get eaten by an Ork."

"Greetings Guardsmen. The more forces we can gather the better. I'm Veteran Sergeant Momaru, 1st company of the II Astartes Legion. It's much easier to bump fists than to try to shake hands at this much of a size difference, I've found."

Cute. She thought. Never seen a Marine play nice with the meat shield before...the Techpriest must be important. Ignoring the Marine, she returned her attention to Keal. "So since the Brass sent Kasrkin to this mud ball, just how fucked up are things?"

Egerion

"The Inquisitor is in a base north of here with some Skiitarii, Dante will be able to give more accurate directions. If you and your people are ready to move out I'd like to be on our way now, or do we need to delay till your Tech Priest gets that hunk of scrap trying to pass as a transport our new Guardsmen are in up to code? Cause I take personal issue with 'deserting' perfectly good troops for asinine reasons."

"Thank you Leftenant and I agree." Egerion replied. "I dislike the idea of abandoning any forces. Assuming that Chimera is even somewhat serviceable, Engineseer Sana should have it ready to go shortly." Switching channels, he vox"d Sana. "Engineseer Sana, what is the status of the Chimera?"

"I don't know if you've dealt with Inquisitors much before, but Inquisitor Draco actually knows how to have fun."

Keal nodded and watched as she smiled. He was silent as she continued, but silently pondered whether the Inquisitor would be as out-landish as the others. He actually kind of hoped for some kind of Commissar-Inquisitor to show up and put some order into this reunite.

"Me? A Sister? Hardly." She replied. "In fact, I'm pretty sure the first Sister I run into is going to be a bit...miffed...that I've nicked some of their kit. Not my style."

Keal lit up, "Nicked? You nabbed some POWER ARMOUR? How in the hell did that ever happen? You don't just walk across a battlefield and pick up some power armour off of a Holy Sister, so when'd you become the galaxy's greatest thief? Apparently you like smashing things right in the face, judging by your idea of NOT taking the way that stops you from getting shot. I see you have forgotten a few of your battle senses since donning that, especially if you think the enemy WOULDN'T place a hotshot between your shoulders before you can cry havoc."

Keal was about to continue when he heard talking from inside the Chimera. An engineseer was working on the inside of his vehicle. Keal listened in, hearing...

"Would you mind getting me a couple of the jerry cans from the garage and filling them with fuel? I'd rather not waste anyone's time by doing it myself and taking time away from this old girl's needed checks."

"Oi, Sergi and Urai, get off your asses and get that nice girl some fuel! And Urai, try not to set fire to it, you gak. I've seen more than enough of your little "accidents" with our vehicles supplies before!"

Keal shook his head and turned back to Lith...

"So since the Brass sent Kasrkin to this mud ball, just how fucked up are things?"

"Really? I am standing next to a dreadnought, a Pysker, a wannabee Sister of Battle, some kind of Cub of the Space Wolves, an Engineseer and a...

Keal fell instantly silent and slowly turned. A Terminator stood in front of him, in it's massive, whirring armour. It's right arm stuck out, with it's hand curled into a fist. Keal stared for a few moments, looking up and down a few times. He lifted his helmet and locked it down on his head, before detaching his Hellgun. Keal placed his Hellgun in the lip of Chimera and slowly turned back. He curled his fist and lifted it towards the giant hand, dwarfing him with every move. There was a tiny "Ding!" as Keal's fist clinked off of the massive metal fist. He immediately wrenched his arm back and straightened up, backing away slowly. He climbed in the Chimera backwards and worked his way to the drivers seat. Marc was already out of there so Keal sat down and turned to face the front. His eyes still unblinking, he laid back and stared forwards.

"The old girl is fairly ok, outside of a few grotesque ork modifications. She should hold up." Sana said as the guardsmen came back and loaded the chimera up with the liquid. Hopping out of the apc, she looked up at egerion with a smile. "As soon as we're loaded up we can leave." she said and climbed over to the rhino, sliding into the drivers seat with a grin matched only by a khornate slaughtering innocents.

"Once we're all in, we're departing." Sana said over the open vox channel.

"Giving a nod to the reaining guardsmen, Momaru left them with a simple comment. "Stay safe." was all he said before waiting for the rest of the crew to load into the rhino. He couldn't help but chuckle the reaction of the guardsman to him. "Hehe, never gets old." he said on a channel to egerion.
