If you started from the beginning and watched it going downhill from bad to suck, then started a thread about it, hooray for you. But to see an episode in the middle of a series, then whinge about the whole series without subjecting yourself to the previous episodes, especially when you can finish a few episodes during a particularly arduous bowel movement? There's a pointy hat and a stool in the corner for people like you.

I've just watched every single episode while you were whingeing, and I can now say that the show is completely retarded, and I pity anyone who finds it even remotely funny.

I seriously pity you if you don't find it entertaining. Maybe you might appreciate it a bit more if you saw the other episodes. Introducing someone to a series with no knowledge of the history never really works, it's why people that haven't watched every episode of Lost say it's crap (besides it actually being crap and poorly written).

Really though it's a take it or leave it kind of thing. Some thought the first episodes were great and some think they sucked but the newer ones are good. I personally enjoy it quite a bit.

I almost immediately gave up on it after the first episode but after the story kicked in I now look forward to it every week. Seriously, you have to watch it from the beginning justt know that it gets better from there.

The jokes seem so...unoriginal. They lack the freshness of Yahtzee's ludicrous metaphors or the confused comments of the Unskippable guys. The whole thing seems rather crude and a little too immature for this site. I noticed the creator posted episode 2 on Newgrounds, and that seems like a place where the whole thing would be much better suited. There are some hilarious and amazing movies on that site, but the standards are for the most part so low that Newgrounds users would find Apocalypse Lane hilarious. Hell, were it on Newgrounds, I might even watch it regularly. But the fact that the series, with its cheap sexual jokes and frankly ugly art style, is here on the Escapist, really bugs me. I don't think this is the place for it.

I feel the same about people who enjoy Unskippable, with the exception of the Yahtzee episode.

I don't hate Unskippable, I find the whole kind of ridiculous, but the guy with deeper voice says some funny things occasionally. Also, while it isn't really funny per say, I enjoy Unforgotten Realms as a parody of Dungeons and Dragons pen and paper table top games.

I think they're fucking hilarious! But that's me and everyone has different taste. For instance your avatar is Sonic Unleashed, and I think that's one of the shittyist games ever made, but that's cool because we're not all supposed to like the same things.

Now I have to ask... Does anyone on this forum actually find these webisodes funny?
I have to say, I personally want the last 6 minutes of my life back.

I think they're fucking hilarious! But that's me and everyone has different taste. For instance your avatar is Sonic Unleashed, and I think that's one of the shittyist games ever made, but that's cool because we're not all supposed to like the same things.

I'm honestly honored to be doing this series and I'm glad the Escapist has the balls to try something different.

My avatar has only recently changed to Sonic Unleashed, and i did it on purpose to get a rise from people like you.
The game wasn't that awful. I don't care what anyone says, Sonic Unleashed was alot better than Sonic Heroes, and alot less buggy than Sonic 06. Yes the framerate issues still linger, but the game is playable. Moreso than 06, which I actually enjoyed.
People seem to forget about Sonic being about speed and platforming.
Sonic Team tried something new, sure the night time levels are a tad tedious, but the daytime levels are pure bliss. If you don't like Sonic, fair enough, but to say it's a bad game is incorrect. It has some interesting concepts, even if they're executed poorly, and I commend Sonic Team for trying something new. Even if the hardcore fans didn't like it, SU is still essentially Sonic. Go play WoW, or something as mind-numbingly boring.
I found Sonic Unleashed fun.

That's cool. Like I said that's what makes people different. You think it's a good game, I think it's an abominable pile of horse shit. There's nothing wrong with that. I'm not gonna start a forum about it though.

Ok, so you want to say you pity anybody that likes Apocalypse lane because it sucks in your opinion. Then you turn around and get all pissy because Jon doesn't like SU and you go on a rant entirely unrelated to the topic. You then say that his opinion of SU is incorrect because you enjoyed it, and by saying that, basically say that any other opinion other than yours is incorrect.

1: Jon tried something new.
