When someone posts on an old thread, it causes the thread to come back up to the top and people see it again. He revived the topic. Usually necroing topics is bad, unless its a topic that is repeated alot, since its more fair to the original poster who created that topic.

In this case the discussion was finished 3 weeks ago and some troll came by to resurect it and troll on people. Nercoing topics confuses people, its like if I necro'd a topic called Saints row officially announced. People would think Saints Row 3 when its actually an old topic on Saints row 1

Necro'd comes from the term necromancing, or to revive from the dead.

Old thread gets posted in when it hasn't been for awhile.

If the discussion dies then the thread is left to dwell the later pages of the forum. When someone posts in a dead thread the necro it and bring it back to life.

Edit: Damn I tried to post quick so I wouldn't get ninjaed...

(Ninjaed means someone stalks you before silently assassinating you, and whilst never really being there...)

Could watch it because as an active member of the forums the site is on, some references to the show will more than likely crop up from time to time, and then you'll understand? Kind of like watching what all the cool kids are so that you can talk about it at school.

You should start watching because you might enjoy it, if you don't, then stop watching. Same reason you should watch/do anything...

It's not exactly going to set you back anything is it.

Obvious angry stupid troll is obvious angry and stupid.

And props to Jon for sticking up for his series but not becoming a jerk or a troll. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and the fact that you "pity" people who enjoy the series make you more of a fool than the people who watch the series itself.

Now as for my input on the show, I never found it that funny and I have since ceased to watch it, does that mean the show is terrible? No I merely don't enjoy it. And one ting that always bugged me was the scene in poker night becuase I have seen that before(Arrested Development)
