Are sandals appropriate all year round?

I say that I should be able to get away with wearing shorts, t shirt and sandals all year
People grief me for it
I like wearing sandals, they're comfortable
If it's especially cold I'll wear a jumper

Apparently, it's bad taste to wear shorts and sandals before a certain date
I was not aware of this

i find sandals a horrible fashion anyway. especially when they are worn with socks. anyone who wears sandals and socks deserves to have their feet forcibly removed.

I suppose it depends on what kind of climate you live in... I live up in Canada, so wearing sandals all year round would be verging on retarded. But if I lived somewhere warm and didn't hate sandals, I would probably wear them most of the time.

To be absolutely honest, it depends on your endurance and your willingness to commit to one outfit arch-type all year round. I don't know about others, but I alternate the style of my clothing every now and again. Like one day I'll wear short sleeve shirts, then another, OH, I'm wearing a long sleeve one!
