Are there any gamer geeks who actually are good-looking?

Wow, your sister's a *****. Seriously, she's gotta be one of the more shallow people I've ever seen.

All she's doing is stereotyping people based on their hobbies.
i see someone thinks like me. we need to take those who think like that down a peg
Hell, better like you than like her.
People are still mad about something that has been resolved?
Wow, for a second there i tought i wasn't on internet.

I get told I'm handsome, and I've even been hit on by girls.
And I'm nowhere near chubby.
I'm not all that athletic any more, but my metabolism is stupid high, so I probably couldn't get fat even if I tried to.
As far as appearances go, I don't think I really fit into the stereotype.

I'm the one looking directly at the camera, although everyone else in this shot is a gamer of varying degrees.

I'm not like Bradley Cooper handsome, but I think I'm an okay looking guy.

And I noticed that some people were judging by partners. This is me and my girlfriend

There are probably hundreds of threads with forum members pictures. Search the forum for "pictures", "look like" and so on, you will find them, they come up quite regularly. Like these:
http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.242583-Yet-another-picture-thread#8795161
http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.225957-Pictures-of-Posters#7702754
http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.247622-Who-do-you-look-like#9102644
http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.263161-Picture-thread-Because-everyone-seems-so-down-about-everything-here-lately?page=1

Really though, generalizing any group based on certain physical features is a very limited and questionable view of the world. Of course we are not all chubby and wear glasses, but thanks for the continued generalization.

Probably just as many or more threads and polls about our ages:
http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.284086-Poll-Age-Poll#11179643
http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.78880-Poll-Average-age-of-TheEscapist-forumgoers#992187
http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.264114-Poll-Average-Escapist-Age#10006944
http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.229247-Poll-A-new-age-thread#7938666
http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.238955-Poll-Whats-your-age-again#8582648

Which are, of course, not average for gamers in general because I really doubt a lot of gamers bother spending time posting on forums or answering questions about their ages, especially as they get older. I would much rather spend my free time playing a game than answering random and repeated poll questions about my age. Although today I am thinking about spending the 90+ degree day in the pool instead.
Thank you. I'm glad somebody knows how to use the fk*ing search feature.

OT: My girlfriend says I'm good looking....does that count?

I've always felt that I was pretty attractive, and I'm also pretty much a geek on every level. Books, movies, comics, games, hobbies... You name it, I geek out about it. I am a gamer geek for a living. I embrace my geekiness, rather than hide it, letting the world know: I am a cute girl that worships Thor, the comic and the Norse God. And I will argue you for an hour over how Obi-Wan could have saved the galaxy a lot of grief if some one had just listened to him.

Well, I'm 27, married with 2 children, gainfully employed, have a house, and hold a B.S. I have entertained a consistent gaming hobby since childhood.

How do I, or anyone else, find time for it? It's really not hard. It's up to you how you spend your leisure time. A lot of people spend it staring at whatever dreck is on TV. How do most people with jobs and families find time for American Idol and whatever else is popular on TV. I mean, if Nielssen statistics are to be believed, the average american spends some 4+ hours in front of the TV per day. That's a lot of time. So, it's easy to fit in gaming in place of some of it.

Incidentally, this is also the reason I don't buy it when I hear someone say "Gee, I would sure like to read more, but I just don't have the time." They could just turn off the TV if they really wanted to read. It's up to you how you spend your leisure time. But no, they instead back-handedly imply that I'm lazy and lead an easy life because I make time to read.

I would have to say I'm attractive, not model good-looking but I have never had any trouble with hook-ups. And in my experience the gamer persona actually helps with the attraction so... can't really relate to what the OP is saying. Gamers come in all forms just as all people come in different forms.

And just incase I'm called a fake, can check out my facebook link on my profile.

EDIT: Because I do not know how to link pictures. I know, I'm a n00b.

I will be the first to admit that the search function on this site seems rather limited and even when I know what I am looking for it thwarts my attempts but at least make the attempt. You can even move over to Google and just add "escapist" to what you are looking for and make another attempt.

Actually, that is the only opinion that counts. Just ask her. ;)

Someone being good looking or not is completely subjective, therefore someone might find the fattest, most disgusting nerd attractive, so your question is invalid.
1) I Agree
2) It wasn't my question, it was my sister question
and 3 for all users ) Don't treat the title as MY question, it was MY sisters, she changed her mind, no need to rage and dont need to tell me 'oh YOUR question is unvalid' because i was the first person to tell her how unvalid HER question was.
Thank you.
1) Good
2) I did not read the topic, I just answered the title question and I'm proud of it!
3) There is no such thing as an "unvalid" question, it's "invalid" question. (Best regards from your neighbour, the grammar nazi.)

:)

I want to be so cocky as to say I think I'm at least pretty cute. There's a pic with less obnoxious light on my profile if someone's annoyed with this one. <:
Now I'm gonna be cocky and say that I agree.
Btw, I think I remember seeing a pic of you a while ago... you had dark hair, and were drenched in fake blood?! I'm pretty sure that you're the same girl.

Anyway, just wanted to tell you that you're possibly the most Swedish-looking person I've ever seen. And the awesome hair is half the reason why.

You look a lot like my sister, and that's no insult.

;)

Just keep smiling, and you'll never look ugly. Seriously.
