Yes and no. I don't want to be, but I think if I were in a situation where I could, I probably would. If some random woman approached me and said "I like you, come with me," I'm not sure I could resist. It's just never been tested in real life. On the internet, it has. I've had a few women on dating sites seemingly straight hit me up for sex and I either ignore them or tell them no. I'd get way too attached and it hurts knowing I'll never see someone I like again. I used to silently fall in love with any woman who paid attention to me, but I don't think I really do that anymore now that I've lost my virginity.
In school, it used to be "she's sitting next to me, omg omg omg" for literally any remotely attractive female who sat next to me in class. Now I feel like I can look at someone and go "Ummm... no." She's not interested in me, I'm not interested in her, or some permutation thereof. It's better than my former thought process, which was "I'm a hideous unlovable troll and no person would ever take interest in me." Now it's more "Yeah, I doubt it would work."

No I'm not a man whore. I honestly have not been trying to get laid for for a while now. Sex has not been a huge deal since I lost my virginity. I have been balancing two jobs and community college which does not give me time to pursue women.
But this fall I am going to film school(really excited for film school) in the city where I will:
- have my own appartment
- be 21
-access to all the bars and clubs

Its funny when I hear girls talk about a double standard when it comes to being judged about their sexual habits. I scoff at this, because I hold them and their male peers in equally low regard.

Because our society values monogamy. It is less risky, and the idea of two faithful partners is a more symbolic and romantic image than someone who does what they please because it feels good.telocaster said:
As for me, I think less of people who sleep around for a couple of reasons.
1. For one thing, I see it as a lack of self control. You cannot regulate your more animalistic urges and simply act on them. Generally, the people who I see sleep around engage in other activities to the point of excess as well. They binge drink, the do drugs and they do anything that gives short term gain / fun even at the expense of potential long term problems / damage.
2. Its risky. I am an inherently conservative person, and as such I am not prone to taking risks, financial or otherwise. When I see people who sleep around, I see risk takers. I question their judgement, and I mentally categorize them in with people who engage in risky physical feats / activities.
These are just two off the top of my head. Does this mean I think "whores" are bad people? No. However, I do question their judgement, and I will think less of them. This doesn't mean I am some jackass prude who will berate them about it, but my thoughts are my own.

I am a manwhore because I have given into temptation before. I am currently dating a girl, a girl I claim to love, and we have yet to have sex. Rarely do we have any sexual encounters at all actually. On the surface, it doesn't sound so bad, it's just that the only problem is that we've been dating for almost 3 years now.

After being rejected BY YOUR GIRLFRIEND so many times, it starts to do things to you self-esteem.
Recently I started seeing a friend of ours. She knows my girlfriend, and we went into it with good intentions. Just two friends who enjoy each others company... I will spare the details, but let's just say that now she comes over to my house basically every night and things happen. Things I am certainly not proud of but things that, nevertheless, I cant seem to stop.

Friends of mine, hell, friends of mine AND my girlfriends have straight up offered me sex. About 6 or 7 of them have essentially said "let's have a sexy love affair" and I pride myself on having said no every time. Which is why it is even stranger that the one person I do have an affair with, was the one person I had never had any feelings for.
I never assumed things would end up the way they did between me and her. Life has a way of throwing you a bone every once in a while...

But the point is I enjoy the attention. I had girls follow me in high school, but I was too much into a career and myself to care. Now I really enjoy it. My wife gives me plenty and other peoples attention is just icing on the cake.
