I guess I like games, tend to spend time playing them to stop thinking (same as reading books or watching films)
as for nerdy stuff - thinking, it's like an unstoppable torrent of information blasted into my mind, new ideas, creations, just about anything, all of which makes conversation hard as it sometimes turns into a sort of lecture about the latest thing to strike my mind.

Social anxiety, highly intelligent and with little eccentricities. Used to be used as the class encyclopaedia, even by tutors. Pretty much spend all waking hours on computer, and my sleep schedule is off to the extent i go to bed around 4-5am and wake up at 3 the next day. Oh, i play WoW excessively. However, i have a load of irl friends, probably more female than male (i'm male), and have girls interested in me. Been in several relationships. Also tend to be more interested in politics, philosophy and literature than programming, yet still used as the family computer technician and extremely knowledgeable about the hardware. So there you are, a mixed bag.

as I'm just a poor music student who makes a bit of money Audio Engineering here and there (working towards getting a studio going in my 20's.)

I detest superman and most superheroes, but I'm a HUGE fan of graphic novels, but they have to challenge my perception of superheroes and superhero stories in some way, which is why my favourite Graphic Novels are Batman: Arkham Asylum, Watchmen and V for Vendetta so far.
I have no idea if this is at all helpful, but I love my Mackie HR 824 Studio monitors... They cost a fucking wad, but they've been an invaluable investment.

Also, if you haven't, check out The Invisibles - one of the best not-really-superhero superhero comics by Grant Morrison, the writer for Arkham Asylum.
Tannoy Reveal 5a's, can't go wrong :D

And cheers for the recommendation man. I'll check The Invisibles out for sure.
The writing in Arkham Asylum is absolutely stellar, so I'll be sure to pick The Invisibles up soon.

I have an Xbox, but have never had XBL.

Oh yeah, and I'm a chick. That automatically earns me plenty of stares.

Perhaps you're a Halo-Xbox player, but you have a professional quality mic and a deep voice that you use to burst into opera that rivals the works of Pavarotti.
Actually this, minus the opera. I'm completely tone-deaf but I have a very deep voice and a good mic.

I'm a nerd with no nerd friends and was forced to adapt and hide my nerddom bellow a thick layer of faked social skills :p

I read History text books and Medical Journals for fun. Sometimes I use to ride the Streetcar in my Starfeet uniform, I'm not sure if that makes more unique or crazy..

Also, instead of getting excited about a new male celebrity, I get excited when a new male video game character comes out.

Can't think of anything, guess i'm just your normal geek.
I didn't do well in school, i have a crappy job, i play the guitar not very well, every hobby i've had hasn't stuck, i have no interests other than playing games and watching movies, i only play games about 2 hours a day.

Just thought of something, i was always put with the bullies in school, people assume i'm a bad person but really i'm a pretty intelligent, well spoken, well mannered person.

You only have my word on that.

Nerd with no nerd friends (at least that was the case in highschool), an EQ (and IQ, but less relevant) far above that of anyone who considered themselves friend of mine, a tendency to be socially awkward... but only if it amuses me, a passion for computer science and Psychology (go figure), Techno and not much else. Public speaker since frosh year of high school, college
speech team, and a marketing analyst contractor in the video game industry, also a drug prevention specialist.

As for answering the OP question.. Sure I'm unique, but so is everyone else. I suppose you're asking us to measure to the degree of which we're unique, when compared to others in our "classification"

Sure I will call myself "unique" when compared to my personal definition of geek.

Gaming is my hobby, but I am primarily a visual artist working in painting. I'm a pool shark, and an amateur stand-up comic that is doing fairly well at the amateur clubs. My other interests include graffiti (which I do, but I don't do tags, throws or burners, only actual pictures), tattooing and street punk (which I am not as interested in as I used to be).

The inherent nerdliness that I have comes from my insane love of dragons. I... really like dragons.

I am married to a hot 5'10" brunette who wants to have sex more than I do. God I love my life.
