Yeah, I'm good at Halo, though I hate multiplayer, but while legendary on Halo Xbox took FOREVER to complete (and Halo 2 on the Xbox and then on the Vista PC took EVEN LONGER (stupid dual plasma rifles in the first level) it eventually became a routine to go through.CrashBang said:I'm 21 and I've been gaming since I was 6. I have the Crest of Hyrule tattooed on my back and I donno where I'd be without games. However, that doesn't mean I'm a particularly good gamer.
I've played through Mass Effect 2 several times on normal difficulty, but on hardcore? No no no no. Y'know the part, half way through, where you make your way into the supposedly dead Reaper and get ambushed by a load of Collectors on platforms? Can't do it, nope, not a chance.
My point is, for all of the love you have for games, are you actually good at Halo, DIRT, CoD, God Of War or Portal?
Sure, we all have our strengths. For example, it's a scientific fact that I am unbeatable at Crash Team Racing, but I am rubbish at almost all first and third person shooters, even though I play them quite a lot.
So, gamers, what games do you suck at, even if you love them and play them often?
I'm not bad at multiplayer, but I don't like it.
At Gears of War? Not all that good, tactics are different and while the SP on max difficulty isn't too tough for me, I just don't like the multiplayer to even one degree as I don't think it's balanced and "cheap tactics" are all over the place.
At RPG's? I don't usually play higher difficulties on PC or anything though I may have on Dragon Age at some point.
Deus Ex? Did that on the highest difficulty on the PC, not that hard.
Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 I've definitely gone through on the highest difficulty (or was it just ME 1 that I did insane on? I'm not sure, I've had the 360 version for quite a few years.
So yeah... I'm good at games... but I play for story and hate multiplayer.
