Are you awkward?

Awkward is one of my prime personality traits. Fortunately, I've learned (after years of being devastatingly awkward) how to make my awkwardness entertaining instead of uncomfortable.
If you put your heart into the stupid things you do on impulse, its can be more endearing than weird.

Not that I can recall. I'm asocial, though most people insist on calling me antiscoial. Disinterested in small talk, so I frequently respond to "how is your day?" with something stupid like "hello", or a simple "hey there" with "I'm great!" But like I said, I'm asocial. I don't hate social interaction, and I'll take any opportunity to hang with my friends so it's not a great description, but social situations with people I don't know, I am quite awkward mostly out of disinterest.

I used to be when I was a kid, but it sort of faded when my social life exploded (read: became interested in girls, especially in having sex with them (to varying degrees of success)). Conversation takes practice, like anything else. So I would a stereotypical socially-inept gamer if I wasn't forced not to be.

Nope. I'm never awkward unless I want to be.

Never been told I'm an overall awkward person, just that I have awkward moments. Like one time a friend one gave me ten dollars in ones and I just kinda mumbled "stripper money... awesome" and they were like "What? Did you just say something about stripping?"

i'm 6'5 with a full beard, prescription motorcycle glasses, wear a wal-mart hat, size 15 black boots, i visually come off like either a hobo or a knife-wielding serial killer.

Creepy and Awkward is who I am.

If your friends think that's awkward, you need to find friends with a sense of humor.

Yes. I am Definitely socially awkward. Liking ponies doesn't really help either... I have been told the former by my very good friend multiple times. Self esteem issues. Then of course when I'm around certain friends I can't shut up :/

No friends since 8th grade, studying now.
Stopped looking awkward and bought new clothes when starting to go to University. Now it is just the more awkward when people find out that I am Mr. Weird, because usually Mr. Weirds don't look like Mr. Fancypants. Luckily I am alone most of the time, so I am quite happy.

Yes, many a times. It pisses me off and tell them they are akward. Then they get pissed off.

Not really, not that awkward/shy any more. Did used to have a few people when I was younger go, "you're really quiet", as if suddenly I would burst into song to prove otherwise.

All the time. I spend most of my time alone, so I don't know how to notice body language very well - oh, I know how to read it when I *do* notice it, but it's a rare occurrence when that happens - so I make any kind of social situation very awkward just by being present.

Yeah I awkward around groups of people and sometime my relatives (when we are in a resturant). They have conversation and I just sit there sometime if they are talking about stuff I don't have interests in. I pretty much also can't stand large party as well.

Slightly, but at the same time I can also be charming if I choose to be, but unless it is with my girlfriend or people need my to be persuasive then I generally would rather not try. The only person who has said I was awkward was a complete idiot, my friend and I then proceeded to cut him apart with wit in front of a few people from my chess club, he looked stupid and we looked like silver-tongued sharp-witted devils, and only because he was being an ass...

But OT: slightly, I guess, but never been a problem.

I'm incredibly awkward. I just plain don't understand human interaction. For example, the process of courtship for humanity often involves getting to know each other intimately and in great detail. However, the most popular place to begin this process are clubs that play music at levels making it nigh on impossible to hear each other speak. To me, humanity is a species whose social interactions ring with these contradictions and catch 22s leading me to think this planet is ruled by a species that simply does not know what it wants. Disturbing.

Nothing's really awkward until you say it is. If you act as if everything is normal then the rest of the conversation will seem... normal. Now if someone says "ell this is awkward.", the rest of the conversation will be awkward.
