The animations are a huge deal to me. As someone who cares a lot more about narrative and the characters- how they interact and what they look like is a make or break for me.
At its current form the animations of ME:A makes it a no buy for me. Unreal how bad it is. The first game looks LEAGUES better in that department than ME:A and this is a comparison between a game from 2007 to 2017. Bioware/EA seemed to of learned absolutely nothing when it comes to not rushing out a game and I can't wait for the next Dragon Age game to have 30x more polish for no fucking reason while ME gets the trash treatment.
EDIT: And before anyone brings up that comparison gif this opinion stems from playing the first 3 hours of the game on official release. The initial intro scene looked really good, but the moment my main character sat up after cryo I was already seeing the meme content in action.
Dead expressions, poor implementation of storyboarded interactions, awkward to non-existent eye contact and way too janky body motions.
