I was born 13 minutes to midnight on Hallowe'en in 1977, the chinese year of the snake. So yeah superstition and black magic are of particular interest to me. I don't focus on the black magic so much these days, but can still prattle off stuff of interest during horror movies and their ilk. I am particularly fond of the angels as well, Gabriel being my favourite. The definiton of my first and second names are: Son of the Right Hand + First son of God.
I have long believed i have a surface level of psychic ability, and am haunted by vivid prophetic dreams. I have dreamed of the concord crash back those years ago, and 9/11 was dream of standing on the roof of a tall building that collapsed in flames a dream that then repeated itself.

In honor of today being Friday the 13th I decided to do a post about superstition

Are you superstitious at all, or do you believe the idea of good/bad luck to be pure nonense? If you are indeed superstitious, What do you avoid purposefully or believe brings bad luck/ good luck?

Of course there are things like black cats and walking under ladders to start off from, my mom however, believes that if my tongue were to start stinging or feel some weird pain, that a dirty girl wants to kiss me. Which I welcome, but find to be an odd superstition.
Never.

Does believing in Karma count as superstition? I do, but i have a pretty good reason too.
Do tell....
It's nothing worthy of My Name is Earl, but what happened was during class, i busted some of my friends, telling the teacher they had gum and what not, while i was chewing some myself.
Small town, word spreads fast, almost everyone hates me. I went home, Watched some MNiE, got the idea about Karma, went out, bought some gum, gave it to my friends, and that day, i found about 3 times what the gum cost me in cash.

Like I said, nothing exciting, but it's enough to convince me.

Nah, not really. I once had a friend invite me to a haunted bridge, and nothing really happened. I didn't think anything would either, but said friend was freaking out, probably because the others were trying to scare her by making weird sounds. She also swears that a deer that stared at us was completely unnatural.

Nah, I don't believe in those old wives' tales or junk. I do believe karma exists though. Even if it's not some kind of higher power, it still exists to some extent. Bad things happen to everyone, but if you're a bad person, noone's going to be there to pick you up. That's karma for me.

I suppose I also don't disbelieve things like reincarnation, ghosts or aliens. I'm certainly not a firm believer nor do I place much focus or attention to these things, but I don't think they're totally impossible either.
