At the moment yes, very happy.

But if you had of posted this last week then I would have had a different answer (but I probably wouldn't have posted). I was extremly depressed last week. I'm not even going to get into it much because I far to happy now to talk about depressing things.

This has been a bit of a ridiculous year so far for me. I've started my first year of University, I'm very stressed because of assignments, and earlier this year I nearly died of Appendicitis. However, I've also made lots of new friends and i'm really enjoying being able to hang out with them and be the funny guy again, which is something I havent had since I finished school.

So I guess I am happy. Just.

I'm pretty much always happy, but life has been especially good since I started university last September. Now my first year's over, there's a little bit of sadness. When I go home I have fewer friends and I'm less sociable. I mean they're really good friends, but I miss the atmosphere of uni.

Well my job doesn't make happy, but I have an interview in a few days for a new job. Looks like I might finally be able to get off evening shifts, then I will have loads to smile about.

Apart from that everything seems quite good.

This screams out Bunny Boiler or someone who lacks trust if I'm honest.

OT - I'm happy, very happy actually, I have no reason not to be. I have a pretty awesome partner a very awesome child and another one on the way. We have a house, we have a car and good jobs. Life is good and happy.

No.

Try being on your own with no job, no human contact, no nothing for over 3 years, look back at a life full of "what if" scenarios that all have the basic conclusion that everything would be better if you were less of you, see what that does to you.

I am content. At least I was until someone did that annoying thing where they unnecessarily leave the question half done in the title to bait people to their thread.

I had one contact who was the girl I lived with, who fed me and kept me occupied with videogames so I wouldn't go outside and meet anybody. Then when she went home to her parents for days at a time I was left totally alone with the voices in my head and the strange hallucinations I would keep having. It was like she kept me prisoner, actively cut me off from anybody I wanted to speak to, then constantly reminded me how worthless I was and how much money I owed her for not having a job. I finally cracked it and got out of there, so she told all of our friends that I caused her a miscarriage.

But I'm mother fucking happy. I'll tell you that right now. And so should you be. Fuck 'what if' scenarios. Fuck looking back at those three years. What you need to do ser is stop worrying about what could have been if you weren't you, and start focusing on making life make room for you being you. Otherwise you'll stop being you. And that's the worst crime of all.

I have a decent home, a functional job and relatively good health.

But no, I'm not happy. In fact I don't really feel many emotions anymore.

I'm not particularly happy at the moment... My ex girlfriend is currently one of my only friends at uni, I still love her but she has no time for a boyfriend and can't open up to anyone. I also have a 2500 essay draft due tomorrow morning that I'm barely halfway through, it's 11pm. To top things off my soccer match was cancelled because the other team forfeited. Life aint so good right now...

Yeah, I consider myself happy. I'm healthy, can't think of anyone in my direct social circle who isn't, have plenty of fun with friends, doing fine at school, no financial trouble, so yeah, I'm pretty happy.

It's sort of funny how someone would interpret that as a confirmation of love, while others (me) would take it as a confirmation that she doesn't trust me at all. Different people with different views on relationships, I guess.

OT: yeah, I'm happy. I have loads of friends and a good social life, my economy is okay considering I'm a student, I have an amazing girlfriend, I'm studying something I find extremely interesting and I'm almost guaranteed work when my studies are finished. It's currently all I want in life, and I'm content with that

Am I happy? My default state, when life is going reasonably, is slightly happy. But, I also have anxiety/depression issues, and so in reality this isn't as common as I'd like, and many times I'm worried or sad or twitchy or something.

Well i just finished my exams today, so i can be happy until august when the results come, they won't be explicitly bad, just dissappointing.
There's a girl who makes me happy right now, she's wonderful.
There's no new games out this year that interest me except for dishonoured. That makes me slightly unhappy.
I'm getting my braces off this week, that makes me slightly unhappy as i know there's going to be decay marks on my teeth for the rest of my life, but that doesn't really matter in the long run. Also, i'm getting a retainer put in, so that sounds annoying as fuck.

So yeah, i'd say mostly happy, for the moment anyway. I suppose i should try to make the most of it.
