My dad is actually quite Savvy, my parents have had computers pretty well since they came out. And we had an HD tv almost when the came out. So no, my dad is not stereotypically technologically inept.

See, I miss out on these stories, because my father does a lot of work with computers for his job, and has so far fully embraced every new revolution that the internet has brought along.

I suppose the best story that I have involves my grandmother. We got her an mp3 player for Christmas, and after I finished putting all her music on it for her, I tried to show her how to use it, and instead of putting on the headphones she held the player up to her ear like a cell phone.

My grandad is probably more tech savvy then most people on this forum. He's been working with computers since they were invented. He always brags about how it was people like him that brought computers and technology to what it is today.

My father doesn't have any problem with technology. He received a medal for programming a computer to process military discharges when most of the military folk were going at it on typewriters. So, yeah. Go Dad!

My dad knows more about computers than I do, but I have a better understanding of other technologies.

My father isnt too bad with technology ,either. It took him a bit to learn how to maintain a computer and he doesnt have much knowledge of small tasks(Copy and paste, I kid you not) but he doesnt try to appear like he knows. He is just a great learner.

That being said, his prudence and penny pinching ways still have us on Dial-up.

Oh, Father dearest, why?

He can also kick my ass on Soul Calibur 2, now, as well. No matter how good I am with Ivy or Nightmare, he button mashes his way to victory.

My dad's a tech junkie, so no issues there on my front. He actually assembled his own PC in order to save on manufacturing costs :D

Just make little lists on how to do things for him if he runs into a repeat problem. That's how I got my uncle to sync music.

My dad is more tech savvy than me in a lot of areas. Not only that he was the person who got me into strategy games(and thus my beloved fire emblem), so I give him credit there.

let's see, it's my dad's fault that we had an early windows 98 computer for nine years.
other than that, he's okay.
