There's plenty or perfectly valid reasons not to like a game, but when the reason you don't like the game has a simple fix/solution built into it and you refuse to use it then it really just comes off as "I don't want a solution I want to complain."

Good for him. He ain't playing anymore, you're still playing and the world continues to turn.

So I tried the grasshopper legs some more, I don't like how the boost puts you in the sky but the jumping power is so nice, this game seems to struggle to hit stuff above it, so just hopping over people is as valid as boosting around it seems.

I started new game plus and I feel like they nerfed Balteus too hard. I killed him in sub 30 seconds, which I didn't think was possible.

Your ability to kill him on a first playthrough is significantly hampered by a mediocre available weapon selection. On NG+ you can create a far more convincing boss wrecking frame, especially if you use the stun needle launchers.

And you also have all the boost from the arena point too. I did NG+ right away before the nerf patch and also easily killed him.

Exactly this. I found the NG+ run was the easiest of the 3, cause by that point you've got not only more kit and tunings under your belt, but you also have a ton more experience as well. Not a whole lot stands a chance. Come NG++ though... that's when the game really starts testing you
