That would be a more 'subtle' type of humour rather than the 'slapstick' type humor [NB. spelling]. (Yes, I know I'm stereotyping but whatever). It was also very controversial in terms of its use of the Iraq war for jokes in a satirical manner much more prevalent in Britain.
