Yea, as I walk through the Valley of Death I shall be without fear, for I have gone beyond and seen what men call death. And I tell thee now, it hath no hold upon mine heart.

Oh my gosh.

I love thus kinda stuff. It's so fucking inspiring :) (by the way, that must be a quote, no offense meant, dear Rolling Thunder, but you surely didnt make that up?)

I know its not related to the quote, but I love it in Jarhead when Jamie Foxx's character recites "Thou shalt not kill" then says "but hear this: FUCK. THAT. SHIT!"

makes me fuckin hard...

...because "They may take our lives, but they can never take our freedom! Unless...Unless they kill us, then animate our dead corpses as zombies to fight for them. Then I suppose they've taken our lives, AND our freedom." --Elan from OOTS

...because it's just a metaphor.

As I walk through the shadow of the valley of death, I shall fear no evil for I am the one who carries the gun

As I walk through the shadow of the valley of death, I shall fear no evil for for all the armies of heaven and earth march at my side.

I like the Weird Al version myself,

"As I walk through the valley where I harvest my grain, I take a look at me wife and realize she's very plain!"
"And if I finish my chores, and thou finish thine, then tonight we're gonna party like it's 1699."

I have seen many variations of this Psalm. My favorite one is from Jarhead when Jamie Fox says, "As I walk through the valley of death, I shall fear no evil: FOR I AM THE BADDEST MOTHAFUCKA IN THE GODDAMN VALLEY!!!"

I was just wondering if anyone else had any other good ones.
I personally like this one

That is actually my favorite verse in the Bible, but I like this variant

"...I will fear no evil, for I'm packing a gun in my pocket and I am spazing out on Dr. Pepper."

I forgot where I heard that, but I seem to remember it being in a zombie-movie spoof.

As I fly through the valley of death, I shall fear no evil, for I am at 4000 feet and climbing
- Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X.
This, except, I believe that it is "80,000 feet".

It's from the Bible - Psalm 23:4

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
This one here is right.

As I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
I take a look at my life
And realize there's nothing left.
'Cause I've been blasting and laughing so long
That even my momma thinks that my mind has gone.
But I ain't never crossed a man that didn't deserve it.
Me be treated like a punk, you know that's unheard of.
You betta watch how ya talking
And where ya walking
Or you and your homies might be lined in chalk.
I really hate to trip but I gotta lob,
As they croak, I see myself in the pistol smoke.
Fool, I'm the kinda g that little homie's wanna be like,
On my knees in the night
Saying prayers in the street light.

coolio said it, i just spread the gospel
