Um, well in WW2 I believe there was a hill (CAn't remember the damned Name) that the americans spent a week or two trying to claim as it had a tactical advantage. The Canadians showed up and were have lunch on top of that fucking mound in a day

I think you're referring to Vimy ridge. Little known fact is that Canadians are highly regarded in alot of Europe for their achievements. Take for example the Battle of the Somme or their Protection of a Netherlands Princess. The Tulip festival is held every year in appreciation of us.

I speak French because that's the language we speak around here, in the province of Quebec, south of the Saint Lawrence river.

And I think it's pretty unfair to label a whole country as being shitty, just because of some personal opinion.

French culture has always been an important part of Canada. Britain and France occupied Canada. When Canada gained sovereignty many French people stayed and formed the province Quebec.
As years passed French and Native people formed the Metis and have been an important part of Canadian culture ever since across the continent.

Indeed, never heard of him. I just watched the video you linked, and he seems like a pretty enthusiast stand-up comic. I have personally nothing againt humor, mind you, but somehow, what they say is sometimes thought as being absolute truth for some people.

It's like when Robin Williams is considered an authority in politics just because he did "Good Morning Vietnam" and can do good impersonations...
