How about some replayabilty or longevity? I liked pretty much every thing the game did even the 2012 News reports in the game but I haven't touch it since I beat it in 15 hours. I need more than flags.

I think that given <a href=http://www.destructoid.com/first-info-on-assassin-s-creed-2-leaked-altair-gets-down-with-the-fishes-107595.phtml>this leak, it's a pretty good bet that Altaïr will remain the hero of Assassin's Creed II. If they do nothing else, I just want them to make combat avoidable. Focus more on the stealth aspect of the game, and less on being the best swordfighter this side of Azerbaijan. Personally, I think that being a silent killer that nobody ever sees is way cooler than just slaughtering every guy with a sword within a half-mile radius. Hell, I wouldn't bat an eye if they did something like the informant missions (where you had to keep your cover the entire time) for the main assassinations. It would make perfect sense, too; if, on the way to your target from the assassin's bureau, you were marked by a guard, chances are that word would spread pretty quickly to your target, and he'd make good his escape.

The other thing I'd like is to make climbing the high points a little more challenging. Add a bit of a puzzle element to this. The only reason I say this is because scaling the cathedral in Acre was actually hard; you couldn't just hold up on the left stick the entire time, you had to figure out where you had to get to to make the next stage of the climb.

Also, I want the crossbow from the opening cinematic in the first game to be in Assassin's Creed II.

Okay, let me make this actually discussable,
What flaws in the first game annoyed you (Repetitive Missions included) that you want absolutely removed like a malicious tumor, or fixed?
What would I like to see fixed? Well, the investigations were sometimes stupid(get my 18 flags I dropped and I'll tell you about your guy), but that was relatively minor since you only had to do a few and could skip the others if you wanted.

My main gripe with the game was the last hour or so of gameplay. They built up this entire game teaching you that outright violence and swordplay was a bad thing, it was all about stealth kills then fading away into the background. Then the last hour is just you running around opening killing guys left and right, and that battle against Robert de Sable...what a clusterfuck that was.

Maybe keeping the gameplay consistent for the ENTIRE game would be a great idea, the endgame really felt forced to me and went against everything the rest of the game stood for.

Didnt the ending of AC1 have some crap about a guy who went into the memories of his samurai ancestor. I guess that could be kinda cool, switching the crusades for feudal japan.
And dear god they better get rid of those damn unskippable cutscenes.

Hopefully it will not be repetitive and boring like the first one. They desperately need more variation in the missions. Everything else in AC was awesome.

Or will the story be focused on more of Desmond's ancestors and their encounters with the Templars?
Gentleman's Creed

Lol, replace the dialogue in assassins creed XD

"You, you are a Gentleman"
"No Im not"

then lucy could turn out to be a gentleman. 0_0, SCARRED...

But on a more serious note, I think Ubisoft will go for the Ninja stuff, they gotta listen to the fans. I am bored of the medieval stuff.

My first thought for sequel was that Desmond would have to do the animus to locate the traps mentioned earlier in the game, and would gain one of Altair's abilities after each memory block the way he did with eagle vision (after all, they can't make Altair lose his abilities again, and having a static main character is boring). Then, there's be a sequence similar to the JBA headquarters in SC:DA (I hated that game, it was a perversion of the Splinter Cell I knew and loved, but it could work here), followed by more memory blocks, until he escapes at the end. The third game would be him attacking Abstergo with the rest of the Assassins, possibly using Altair again in some way. That'd be cool.

As for the fixes, I had less of a problem with the side missions than other people, but some variety would be nice. As for the climbing (someone mentioned the Cathedral), I'm thinking the buildings in the poor districts be easy to climb, but the rich districts be harder, the way that the Cathedral was. God I loved climbing that Cathedral.

EDIT: IDK about the ninja stuff, I found the Third Crusade to be an interesting setting.
