...I just jizzed at the sight.
To all the people who think of possible accidents: installing a safety switch will alleviate these worries.

In terms of creativeness, thats pretty damn cool. only thing I can think going wrong is if like my you naturally flick your wrists up often to crack the joints.

...Then again why would I be wearing it out and about...

Damn, that thing looks dangerous. I'd be afraid of stabbing myself in the hand, personally.

Maybe replace the blade with a spoon or something. That way you surprise and amuse the crap out of your friends, AND you have a pretty cool piece of retractable cutlery. :p

Does the man take credit or paypal?

cause i want to order me one! for cosplay purposes of course

i wonder if the mechanism would still work if a real metal blade was inserted into it, instead of that painted plastic one. for authenticity of course

Seriously, I want this so badly now. The only downside would be having your fingerprints all over the victim's face.

Fingerprints rarely (read never) show up on skin, especially not something as oily as the face.

I bet this would become a weapon if there's another world war.
Perfect for spies.
If there is another world war, why on earth would a spy use this and not just a small pin with deadly poison on it? For that matter, why would you use spies instead of just nuking the crap out of the other side with hydrogen bombs?

Just to be clear, it's made of polyurethane. There's not a shred of steel in that design.

Thus, it's not illegal, it just looks like it is because of the paint job.

Its ok, they didn't really have in depth forensic analysis in 15th century Italy. I think you'll be ok as long as no one sees you.

real question is, how are you getting back there (then)? And do you speak Italian? Parlate Italiano?

Ah the genius of home engineering...now, question is, will they be able to perform almost always fatal counter attacks?
That's why Leonardo leaves that kind of stuff for Ezio to use.

Two words.... AWSOME SAUCE!!!!!!!!

I would love to get 4 plus the parts to make any repairs, cause lets face it, DaVince aint gonna be on hand to fix it. Now he just has to build it into a gauntlet that will deflect that plastic sword coming at you adn you will have a massive Assassin based LARP following!
