I wonder what keys the PC gamers will have to hold down 60% of the game.
They could just plug in a controller. Or toggle auto-run.

Anyways, are those DLCs out on consoles yet? I haven't heard anything about them...
I love me some keyboard+mouse, but frankly I don't know if I would want to touch AC2 without a good ol' 360 controller. The game was really built for controllers.
If that's the case, then it was built for controllers with more buttons.

Cause holding R1+X all the time is annoying as hell.

What about holding (as I set it) mouse button 4 + space?
That sounds really uncomfortable.

No surpise on specs there...got it on 360 at least and happy with that.

Plus AC2 without a controller would feel weird (Before anyone starts, yes I know you can use a controller from 360 on PC. That's not my point though)

It can kiss my hairy ass , hell I'll grow a boil just to make it more appealing for that smooch.

Let your permiere clients play the game then allow the peasants a turn at it after you have sucked up as much profit as you can, and then charge a price normally associated with console royalty fees... for the hell of it, because the console gamers have to pay that price.
BS, money grabbing so and so , you aint getting my dosh.

Plus whats the bet it will be a piss poor port of the game, I bet you they even use the ..it performs poorly because its future proofed, and you need a PC that will emerge in the future to get the best from it.

What was the BS escuse ? Needed time to make it perfect, or protecting the game from the nasty PC pirates ?

Unfortunately , todays PC gamers will lap it up and kiss Ubis feet for the privelage.

(PS - Console users - this rant is not at you guys, Consoles are great machines and I wish I had one as well as my PC, this rant is because the way PC gamers get shafted and treated as 2nd class platforms... suprised the DS ver didnt beat the PC one)

Here's a tip to you PC gamers, don't bother, Ass of Ass Creed 2 is paperboy dressed up in good graphics and physics.

The story is good and the character Ezio is likable, but the actual game is just jumping and running from place to place doing whatever you have to do.

It could have been good if you could find out yourself how to get to a spot, but no, just go in the direction of the map marker and hold a button to climb is all that is needed.

Cool, requirements are... I pass them? Incredible. And with 800 MHz to spare. And a card younger by a generation.

This time, Assassin's Creed, I'm ready. I still have nightmares over how badly the first game ran on my POS PC.

Btw, I have finally a reason to gloat: Polish version costs 130 PLN, 100 if pre-ordered. That's $45 or $35 respectively. And the collector's edition costs 160 PLN or 150 PLN pre-ordered. Our CE costs as much as your normal edition :]

It's more of an acclamation thing really, the PC controls are very intuitive after you get used to them.

Standard WASD for walking, 'Shift' switches between high profile and low profile, right and left click do all arm maneuvers, and spacebar foot.

So basically it's the same number of buttons as CoD or any number of FPS'.

Probably shift, spacebar, and W like for the last game.
In case that wasn't a hint, I'm a PC gamer. And no, I don't believe in the "PC gaming master race", I just like my PC, that's all... and I can't really afford a PS3 right now...

But at least the wait is a bit shorter than it was the last time... I think...

If this has 360 controller support, i will most likely buy it.
I've been wanting to feed my Phenom II 955 system with something meaty other than crysis as it makes dogmeat of most games i've run so far

I'll probably need a new graphics card for this. Does anyone know how much they cost, or is my NVIDIA QUADRO NVS 140M enough?

I'd prefer the console version more. I like achievements and the aiming seems less irritating.
