Atlus Offers First Look at Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2

Shhhh....you had me at "Shin Megami Tensei." Well, plus I really enjoy Devil Survivor.

I'm more of a fan of the Persona series.

That leaves me with two questions.

1. Why does the protagonist that's in the 1st and 6th picture look like a slightly recolored and reclothed hero from Persona 3?

2. Where should I start with the rest of his series?

Persona games are SMT games. Same universe, same demons, same general feel.

NICE. I'm so glad they didn't sell out and make this for the 3DS. The DS deserves more time in the limelight imho.

Wha? They had evokers in P3. That gun they all ran around with and looked like they were committing suicide (probably the reason they had glasses for the next one and used cards).

What I mean it's the piece of clothing all the characters wear, in P3 every character has a tie, P4 are glasses, in this one it looks like its the scarf.

They wear bows. and not bow ties either.

Well, I would consider the bows the female version of the tie in the game, IMO.

I absolutely love Suzuhito Yasuda's character designs.

I've come to love the art style of everything SMT. They really go beyond the anime cliches and provide something unique. Not to forget the multicultural aspects of their demon designs.

Favorite has to be Metis.

IDK, I wasn't a huge fan of DS's gameplay compared to other SMT games, as long as improvements are made, however, I'll be looking forward to this game

This just made my year, don't need anything else... Unless another SMT game came out as well, PERSONA PERSONA PERSONA PERSONA, ahem.

... That was totally nessescary, and I am soooooooooo getting it as soon as it get's here, I loved Devil Survivor, hope Numbah 2 is a bit harder, I only found Babel (And obviously the supah impossible optional boss... SATAN) hard. There better be an Atsubro equivalent, loved him, a bro of an Otaku punching out demons...

I should shut up now, getting too excited... Gonna go play through Devil Survivor now... LET'S GO LOKI, GIN ROUTE GOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGO!!!

I own the first one but never completed it... I didn't like the artsyle all that much and the wife beat it and said it was easy. I might break it out and see if I like enough to finish it and buy the sequel.

Suzuhito Yasuda only did the designs for Devil Survivor. Metis was designed by Shigenori Sorejima.

More like Same Multiverse, the Mainline SMT Games, the Persona Sub series, the Devil Survivor sub series etc.
