Ahh Canberra, the place where fun and interesting died of boredom.
But that giant boobie-fish is kind of interesting. But surely they could have used that money to fire all of the current politicians and advertise for new ones. Not any specific party. Just all of them.

Well at least you guys have something to show for your tax dollars. There has been road work going on in my area for over a month and you really...really can't tell at this point. Yes, yes it is. Everyone knows and that's how it was sold. No artistic pretense it was anything else. I believe it was some sort of statement about the funding for public TV networks. They had 50k in the budget which would be taken away and cut off next years budget (hey, you guys don't need that 50k you had left! derr) if not spent asap or something of the sort. Seriously though, I'd rather it be something a little quirky than dull and boring. Loads of towns/cities spend £100,000+ on dreary plaques or small "statues" that no one ever looks at or notices, at least this is a talking point. It's even made it to a thread on a gaming forum, so it's not bad for publicity is it?

i live in the ACT and yeah were pretty pissed by the way its not 170000$ is
