Yup sounds like america alright.
And certain groups of Americans wonder why there are gun laws.
I'm pretty sure that "don't shoot people" is almost a universal law.
I was going "don't give dangerous items to idiots"
Except for that law hardly exists and there are a fuck tonne of loopholes in states where it does and it's just as easily to illegally acquire a fire-arm.... so yeah...

Look at fucking California, all they check is your drivers licence.

Dammit Danielson! Every time a Montanan pulls something like this it makes the rest of us look bad.

Nah, does sound like Montana or Texas though. Turns out there may be more parts of the country than just those two states.
Yes everyone in Texas drives drunk and shoots random hitchhikers.
Gotta love assumptions. :|

Nah that's just the hick states. So basically everything below the Mason Dixon Line, pretty much the entire west besides the coast, and most of the midwest, except for some parts Michigan and NE Illinois, though then again Chicago has historically been lousy with organized crime, so I don't know.... And you're pretty likely to be shot in New York City, despite that not strictly being one of the redneck states. And Vermont and New Hampshire have their fair share of rednecks as well...

Okay, yea, pretty much just stay out of the US if you don't want to be shot by a redneck.

America: land of the free, home of the brave, where even complete retards and sociopaths have the right to bear arms.

U-S-A!

Well, not at the same time, obviously. :p

But, honest to god, I've spent time there, and outside of Montana and Wyoming it is my least favorite place in the country.

EDIT: Though, come to think of it, slightly under half my friends who originate from that state have been the driver in drunk auto accidents, and all of them own guns, some of them even know how to use them. I once had to talk someone through unloading and clearing his Browning HP over the phone.

I don't understand this...

Cone Shot Impressions?
One Cshot Impressions?
One Shot Cimpressions?
C One Shot Impressions?
One Shot Impressions C?

Where and why should a 'C' be added to the website's name?

I can see how changing 'one' to 'gun' may be relevant, but I can't figure out what adding a letter 'C' would achieve.

EDIT: Oh, it's Once Shot Impressions. It seems so obvious now it's been pointed out to me.
Hahaha I was thinking the same thing when I read the guy's joke! Thanks for also editing the answer! It was driving me nuts!

Sucks to be him, but seriously, the irony! It's a good thing his name isn't weaponry-related.

You're more likely to be murdered or robbed by a family member than a stranger.
This is true, however hitching sets up some awfully easy optimal conditions.

Mmm. I sure as hell wouldn't do it, even though I logically know it's very unlikely anything will happen to me.

I've just seen to many horror movies to be getting into random cars!

A few more guesses and you would have made it. I didn't get it either if it makes you feel better, but I wouldn't have asked about it because I assumed it was something everyone got except me... That comment did make me chuckle though.

OT: Now I wont even begin to guess the odds of something like this happening. A random shooting and the victim is someone who's talking about kindness? Of course I find it a little sad that someone got shot, but the coincidences for this article to ever occur make it look like the universe got a dark sense of humour.

California is one of the least gun-friendly states......

This is like a bad sitcom. Our lovable Dolin fakes being assaulted for fame, but UH-OH, the Police have actually arrested someone. How will Dolin get outta this jam? Oh, Dolin!
