Wait, isn't it illegal for a 14 year old to own a sharpened sword since a sharpened sword is no longer considered a prop? It says it's his but I guess it might(legally) belong to his parents(or grandmother...).

I wonder why the police didn't just drop him. He was shooting at them, and if the pellets knocked out windows, then they know he wasn't shooting blanks. I'm all for the second amendment protecting our right to bear arms, i.e. pistols, rifles, swords, knifes, etc. etc., but did no one think,'Hey, this kid has no sense of responsibility with this weapon he owns, maybe we should sell it, and take him to a psychiatrist once a week, and teach him an important lesson about responsibility.' Man the kid even hit the K9 that the police sent in with the butt of the pellet gun. This kid clearly has some mental/psycological problems that need to be looked after. Clearly the child had violent tendencies, why would they allow him to have weapons when he already assaulted his family members once.

kid= 14 years old (1997).
2 generations between them... within 63 years.
so withn 63 years she got kids who then got kids who then got kids.
that averages at around 20 years per "mating session" I believe.
20 year olds are usually not as well prepared to have children than say 30 year olds (what with experience and stuff).

Actually, "article title indicates video game dispute as catalyst of an attack" is a more appropriate title.

They only point out it was the source of the dispute, not the cause of the violence. Like "man murders wife over custody issue", it isn't blaming the custody system.

Even my katana and daggers are blunt on purpose, because it's quite illegal to buy such objects. No shop will do that, you can sharpen them, but no battle-ready objects allowed.
