I want a gun that shoots a net with those weights on the end. The net would wrap around and enemies face, they'd stumble for a bit and the weights would explode. Alternatively, as soon asa the weights hit the back of the enemies face: KABOOM!

Though in the end i could see how that could be impractical for three reasons.
1. A chainsaw requires fuel which would further add to the gun's already massive weight.
2. Despite what Hollywood tells us Chainsawing through flesh and bone would be tough let alone body armor.
3. Maintenance, using a chainsaw for this purpose would dull the teeth quickly (see reason 2) and would therefore need frequent sharpening, if one would try to use a dull saw, it would kick back during cutting and potentially harm the user.

Though if these problems were dealt with, it would be quite useful and could have various uses besides killing people (dropping a tree on an enemy vehicle, cutting through a barred door...)
