Over excitement?

I was bored throughout that whole goddamn movie.

*Takes Julian King, and throws him into the mouth of Cerberus*

"Mmmmmm...whitebread..." Said the Hellhound.
Now that's my idea of a great time!
Can't believe you were bored watching Avatar :( Must take a lot to thrill you.

Well to be honest, I came up with it completely on the spot, I've never seen it anywhere, although if any more people like [link]http://www.avatar-forums.com/general-avatar-forum/43-ways-cope-depression-dream-pandora-being-intangible.html[/link] that appear, it might catch on.
Okay...that made me LOL so hard. I expected sarcasm in that thread but it's clear that it isn't. That would be like if people went around like "WAAH, why can't life be like Star Trek/Star Wars!?" Sure, it'd be cool and it's fun to think about but to get depressed over it? I mean really, just Cosplay if you want life to be like something fictional so much.

I liked it. It's not as good as Up. But NOTHING is as good as Up. NOTHING.
I have yet to see Up. I think I may buy it soon enough though.

Yep, that's what I thought, and though I personally didn't like the movie, I have nothing againt people who did.

Those people, however, can go die.

Eh. Whatever. He's just another guy who died. Go to Somalia and count deaths by AK-47s.

well, there are a lot of avatards out there, apparently.
Wait wait. There is a stupid name for the people who enjoyed the film?
Seriously?

What ever happened to:
"Hey I saw Avatar!"
"Oh yeah? I did too. I didn't like it very much."
"Really? I enjoyed it! I thought it was a fun movie!"
"Neat. Wanna go grab some ice cream?"
"Sure!"

End Scene!

Geez, people. Get over yourselves.
You like it or you don't, but let other people enjoy, or not, the film in peace.
Sheesh.
Amen to this. If you dont enjoy something, don't go around making fun of people who did. I'm not directing this to the person who this statement was made to, I'm just stating in general.

OT: That's a new one on me. Rest his soul, but really, not the most glamourous way to go.

It was cool, but not excitement worthy, maybe the blue alien nip slips got him going? Whatever floats his boat I guess. In any case, I do feel bad for the guy, that's a sucky way to die.

Ok, what if he was at a strip club? This is just like all that other shit were people blame something that didn't necessarily have anything to do with the problem. Its a fallacy.

My sentiments exactly, good sir. People love feeling smug about films/games/music they don't like, it really gets annoying.

Most popular music IS pretty terrible though... I just won't say it to their faces. ;)

HOw the hell do you get a heart attack there? It wasn't even close to lifting my ass off the seat and wooping and yelling in glee.

Peaceful scenes were the best parts watching the beauty, even if some of it made NO sense whatsoever.

Example? The lizard that spun like a top.

Tell the doctors to do an MRI on his brain there may be a tumor.

but to stay on-topic are you sure it wasn't drugs or candy that caused his untimely heart attack.

(Over-exitment in avatar means you don't have a very good sense of decency and common sense to see a nice film that dosen't give you motion sickness).
also it's my opinion.
