Avengers assemble!

so the avengers movie is only a couple of weeks from now and i know im not the one exited as fuck and with the information we know so far we have a good reason to be exited!
however not all of earths mightiest heroes made it into the film and i ask you true believers who of earths mightiest heroes (who arent already in the film) would you add?

Spoiler: my cannidates

i have 4 cannidates:
ant man- one of the founding avengers and a brilliant physichist pym also has a unique power that sets him apart from the group (anyone for a giant pym VS the midgard serpent? or VS the hulk?) also if they go on and use ultron for the next movie then adding pym now (maybie even having him try and make ultron to stop loki as a subplot...) would be great fan service and will pop speculators heads off...

the wasp- again like with pym she has a unique power and style that makes her a nice addition to the group also she is the original female member of the group! the avengers first lady! surly this grants her a respective place in their first live action film?

the vision- one of the first characters made espacially to be an avenger and an old time member (even if not founder) he can add a new flavor to the team (kind of like spoc in star trek) the vision can be an interesting addition to the team.

the scarlet witch- a long time avenger with crazy powers that can be used in the movie for several purposes also if the movie does goes to ultron in the sequel they need her (see avengers 201-202) also she is a mutant kind of sort of bridging the movie universe with x men without breaking the rules (maybie they can mantion her father, magneto, in some vauge way...)

also a combination of either of these couples can add that romantic subplot that hollywood likes so much...

i would have added spidey but that wont happen since fox has the rights for him

I'll be honest I can't complain, Marvel has done more than I've ever expected and when you look at the upcomming movies it gets even better.

Kevin Feige (President of Marvel Studios) has confirmed them, I think it was in Empire Magazine, not sure about that.
And basically I said I wouldn't ask for anything from Marvel because we're already getting more than we could ever ask for. Though I probably wasn't that clear about that in my previous post.

Fox still have the rights to the "X-verse" characters.
Some people thinks the alien enemy in Avengers will be skrulls, just named something different because whoever made Fantastic Four has the rights to the Skrulls since they are considered Fantastic Four enemies.

Frankly I find it annoying that it is like that, but hey that's Hollywood for you...


As for who I'd like to see in the Avengers:

The movie is missing (Gi)antman and Wasp, but they arn't all the interesting imo. At least Wasp is a tad lack luster. (Gi)ant man might be a good replacement for the Hulk in the future though.

As for spiderman: Well he isn't an Avenger and has never been an Avenger. He is a New Avenger though, but that is a whole other discussion

Vision could be an awesome addition in the future, but to be honest I think they should keep the team a little on the smaller side, to get enough screen time for each character.

It's being made. Ryan Reynolds is still going to be Deadpool, and it's in pre-production as far as I remember. Some trouble with choosing a director I think, but it's definitely on the way.

I don't think they should do another Avengers movie for a while after this one. Get the sequels to Captain America, Iron Man and Thor out, put some more after-credits scenes in setting the scene for the sequel or something, then go for it. That would be better than rushing a new one out the door; leave the fans wanting more!

People who should be in The Avengers - Spider-Man (CURSE YOU SONY WITH YOUR CRAPPY REBOOT!), Ant Man (Edgar Wright apparently up to direct film. If this happens, link to Avengers please), She Hulk (was she ever in the Avengers? I'm guessing yes) and Dr Strange (Eye of Agamotto already glimpsed in Odin's Vault, so this could very well happen).

Namor would also be cool. After-credits scene with him please.

Where do you live? Because in the UK the movie is out in 3 days.

OT: I would love to see Doctor Strange but I do not think it will ever happen. I do wish they had put Ant-man in the avengers instead of Captain America. I know he is popular and an important character but I never really liked him and next to everybody else he is basicaly useless, with the exception of hawkeye, wow you have a bow...... ok, and before anyone says the the black widow is just as useless as hawkeye and the Cap thats not true. She is Scarlett Johansson. She is always a good thing to have in a movie.

I agree with most of the film suggestions others have said and a lot of them are being made at the moment.
I think they should leave the avengers as is for the moment, it could ruin the film if they put in too many characters.
They should use the individual films to build up the stories of each of the characters then have the avengers as big punch up films and maybe as milestones that affect the characters stories.

I really want DC to do a similar thing to this and make a justice league film, I prefer the justice league to the avengers. They could do that when someone makes the next set of batman films maybe

Edit: Doesn't Fox have the rights to the Scarlet Witch since she's Magneto's daughter?

I just read recently on IGN that apparently they both have the rights to the characters since they're mutants and Magneto's children, but they're also an integral part of Avengers history. I believe it was one of the producers for the movie that said this.

Honestly, if that's the case it's enough to make me hope neither company uses them since it'd be a bit weird if both did at around the same time. Though my preference would be for them appearing in Avengers if they have to make an appearance at all.

so the avengers movie is only a couple of weeks from now and i know im not the one exited as fuck and with the information we know so far we have a good reason to be exited!
however not all of earths mightiest heroes made it into the film and i ask you true believers who of earths mightiest heroes (who arent already in the film) would you add?

i have 4 cannidates:
ant man- one of the founding avengers and a brilliant physichist pym also has a unique power that sets him apart from the group (anyone for a giant pym VS the midgard serpent? or VS the hulk?) also if they go on and use ultron for the next movie then adding pym now (maybie even having him try and make ultron to stop loki as a subplot...) would be great fan service and will pop speculators heads off...

the wasp- again like with pym she has a unique power and style that makes her a nice addition to the group also she is the original female member of the group! the avengers first lady! surly this grants her a respective place in their first live action film?

the vision- one of the first characters made espacially to be an avenger and an old time member (even if not founder) he can add a new flavor to the team (kind of like spoc in star trek) the vision can be an interesting addition to the team.

the scarlet witch- a long time avenger with crazy powers that can be used in the movie for several purposes also if the movie does goes to ultron in the sequel they need her (see avengers 201-202) also she is a mutant kind of sort of bridging the movie universe with x men without breaking the rules (maybie they can mantion her father, magneto, in some vauge way...)

also a combination of either of these couples can add that romantic subplot that hollywood likes so much...

OT: I would love to see Doctor Strange but I do not think it will ever happen. I do wish they had put Ant-man in the avengers instead of Captain America. I know he is popular and an important character but I never really liked him and next to everybody else he is basicaly useless, with the exception of hawkeye, wow you have a bow...... ok, and before anyone says the the black widow is just as useless as hawkeye and the Cap thats not true. She is Scarlett Johansson. She is always a good thing to have in a movie.

I'm kinda of a same mind on this, only it's Hawkeye that should be replaced by Dr Pym. Ant Man was an original Avenger and yeah his career has been lackluster compared to some of the others, but Hawkeye didn't come into the team until the second grouping(Cap's group along with Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver). Black Widow wasn't an Avenger until waaaay later. The Pyms should have been in this movie.
