John seemed momentarily stunned. Barely registering the lack of electrocution he was experiencing, he stood up, turned around, and faced the newcomers. After a moment of silence, John slowly spun around, and walked back towards the shattered gate.
He then proceeded to slam his head against the threshold a few times.
Turning around again, John excitedly approached his friends. "Hataki! David! You guys are alive! Man, I thought we'd have to walk around for hours before he found you," John said ecstatically, a cheerful grin covering his face.
When he looked at the succubus, John's grin faded slightly. He tilted his head a bit to the side, before straightening, and extending his hand to the demoness. "Hello there, I'm John. I'm not entirely sure what's going on here, but the fact that you're reunited us with our friends is reason enough for me to thank you."
John's next statement was addressed to all three arrivals. "Right, so what exactly have you guys been up to? What happened to Astra? How did you just arrive here? And why didn't Hataki just shock me?!?!?" John exclaimed with an amazed tone.

David raised an eyebrow at the plethora of questions but didn't say anything. Instead, he walked up to John and placed a hand on his forehead. He grit his teeth as he implanted some of his memories into his head.

"Yes, allot happened. I learned some new tricks and how to not shock people. Another thing, i apologize for the lack of a shirt, none of my clothing was going to fit over my wings." Hataki said. she concentrated for about a minute then lifted her right hand. On it red electricity was flowing visibly over the surface. a small form started to take shape. first the body then wings grew out of it, eventually looking like a small bird.

As Galio advanced he could eventually see what was producing the light. A small ornate lantern hung from a hooked stand that was set on the ground. The lantern itself seemed made of glass and bronze with a single candle sitting in it.
The lantern illuminated a small area around including a stone temple like building. The places seemed strangely familiar...

Meanwhile, as the other students talked amongst themselves Umbra had a quick quiet conversation with the small goblin. After it was finished the short man started to waddle over to the great gates that still stood open, grumbling as he did so.

If what David's shown me is real, and I have no doubt it is, then there are some people down here who can screw us over, and I doubt all of them are going to be as nice as Umbra!"
