I work front desk at a hotel (currently working. Bored), so naturally I've come across some pretty hilarious and awesome names. My personal favorite is Dolores Goldfinger (hand to God, its on her ID and credit card). But the reason I made this thread is because I just checked someone in named William Wallace. All I could do was compliment him on his name, which he awkwardly replied with "I get that a lot".

So I was wondering what other hilarious or badass name combinations are out there. What are some of your favorites?

A friend of a cousin said they legally changed their name. I have yet to meet this "Josh Awesome" in person, though.

Hmmm...

You know, there's a trope for this...

Head to the Troper Tales link at the top of the page for some real-life ones. One of my personal favorites was "Armando Gun".

But ones that I've encountered in my own life? Well, I went to high school with a guy named Colton Danforth. That's got to count for something.

Knew a kid in school his name was Damien Deeman, my art teacher had a weird accent so when ever he called out the guys name he would say Damien Demon.

Also no lie I was watching a cooking show this guys last name was Dickensheets....

so my brother and I would yell out in horrible British accents "LORD DICK IN SHEETS IS HAVING A STAY AT THE MENLO GARDENS"

Depends. Was he black? (Yes, I just cited a racial stereotype. Get over it.)

Nope. But even if he was, it would still be pretty badass.

I went to school with a kid called Joshua Buttfield. Also, in one of my classes was a Vanessa Love and Bradley Death! My dad encountered a Death while working... when they called Mr. Death up, he got angry and said "It's pronounced DEETH!"

Duke Ezekiel Slate, seriously, it was bad ass. He was one of my friends in Middle School and he started doing weight training because people kept expecting him to be ripped.

Awesome: Dr. Jefferson Jefferson (not a doctor, his first name is Dr.) (fictional)
Unfortunate: I'eesh'macoc (don't know how it was spelled exactly, but that was his first name, pronounce it)

I knew a guy in the Army.......not gonna believe me......Private Dick, oh yes, we couldn't imagine how he survived basic training. The Drill Sergeants had to have picked on him mercilessly.

P.S. anyone prior Army knows they name everything backwards for some arbitrary reason like "hat, hot weather, type 1: 1 ea" instead of the normal old "type 1 hot weather hat". This guy got promoted to Specialist in record time, and I cant tell you how often I heard him called "Dick, Specialist: 1 ea, come quickly!"

My friend's mom works at a hospital and checks the babies' hearing and she has told me some gems. Emma Royd, Ben Dover, Maximus Fantastico Aethestic, etc. I also lived in a town where there were people named Chlamydia and Vagina (Pronounced Va-Gina).

OT: At my local high school there was a kid with the family name "Kenobi". His parents named him "Ben".

A guy at school has the name Baydon Cox.

You know when you receive letters from doctors and stuff where they put "master" before your name? Well...

...Master Bayden Cox.
