Okay, people are giving kids frickin weird names these days spelled frickin weird ways, maybe it just me noticing it, or maybe its me being a narrow minded whitey, but either way, I want your thoughts!

EX: Weird names (all are true I swear, now watch as I offend some ethnic group)
-Aza-Aja
-La'Shaniea
-Ro
-Zephyra
etc.

EX: Spelled weird: (too many 'y's usually)
-Briteneigh (Britney)
-Camryn (Cameron)
-Alyx (Alex)
-Kahyl (Kyle)
-Emeline (Emily)
etc.

SO! Some questions for YOU:
1. Seen any weird names?
2. Seen ay weird spelled names?
3. What will you name YOUR kid?

Alyx is actually a fairly common name for females. I know a few of them.

Oh, and Zephyra is a derivative of the old Latin/Greek word for "Wind" or "Wind Gust". So it's not weird; it's etymology!

Me and some friends went to a restaurant and we were served by a lady named Qu'shwandah.
Yes. That apostrophe is supposed to be there.

My friend's sister named her twins Yuna and Rikku. Oh dear.

If I have a son, he will be called Guybrush. If a daughter materialises, then I'd have to dodge the inevitable swing at my face when I suggest VoodooLady.

I went to school with a girl named Muffin. It's not a name, it's a snack cake. At best, it's the pet name you call your daughter in private; you don't saddle her with it for the rest of her life.

I also new a girl named Sunny Day and a boy named Donald Duch (pronounced "Duck"). I think both their parents should burn for that.

And for a name that wasn't born but made...I went to school with a girl named Joni Hammond. She married a man named Rocko Boni. Thus she became...Joni Boni. Come on! There's no way I would take that man's name if my name were Joni.

I may as well join the craze and call my son Galvatron.

If its a girl, then she will be called Arcee.

If I had a daughter my wife would name her (but I'd steer her towards the uncommon).

If I had a son his name would be Zebulon. This is non-negotiable.

Why this obsession with uncommon names? When I was in High School no less than 5 people besides myself had the same name as me and this is with a total student population of about 500. That was annoying as hell.

Tales of Symphonia.

I would have had to eat you if you said Emil.

Oh, and I'm naming my firstborn son Felix, and the firstborn daughter Leia.

Haven't we been over this? I believe I said I only like Emil when he was both normal and in close proximity to Marta. Why the hell would I name a child Marta, unless... I have twins!

Dude, Aster is a way cooler name than Emil. That's what I was driving at.

Damn the internet and it's lack of communication.

No, and no, to my recent memory. I'll probably name my son Dimitri though, because, imo, it's a kick ass name.
