I was so intrigued by this bacon explosion i googled it, guess who's cooking himself a heart attack on my next day off. That shit looks amazing.
Me i like my bacon any way it comes, but when i want a proper bacon moment, i put it in a pie. Good shortcrust base, about an inch of dice bacon pre-sauteed for that panfried flavour, some good quality chedder and then good english spinach sweated down with butter. Top with hand rolled puff pastry and cook till golden... can't go wrong baby.
