Alright everyone! Time to brag! What was the toughest boss you've ever beaten? I gotta say, Tyson in the NES version of Punch-Out was one that I wasted hours of my life on. What about you?

The Gradius Bosses, without upgrades. It's almost impossible to do... without dying repeatedly, anyway. which is why this guy has my respect:

I once beat Ghosts to Glory on one life (I mean I never died, either by damage or by pitfall). Nothing will ever top this for me. Anyone that played Maximo knows why this is so.Julianking93 said:

That's the whole fight.
General Radec and Metrac from Killzone 2 and Liberation. Metrac in excess of 4 months to beat. While Radec took me just a day on Elite Difficulty.

That was my personal favorite boss of the whole game except for the last one.
And yeah, I remember playing it, but I can't recall if I liked it or not.
According to google image search, he either is the being you've described or a rather hairy man with bigger boobs than the whore he is banging. I think the former somewhat more likely. And yes the boss is EASY. i just never remember how to beat him at first.Julianking93 said:

One day, several years from now when I'm old and gray and my jawline has sunk in and all my friends are dead and the Escapist is barely on it's last legs and on the verge of bankruptcy, I will have beat the last boss in Dragon Age with my Archer Rogue. And when that day comes, I will find this thread and make an EPIC necropost about the boss I beat on a 40 year old game.
Doctor Fucking Nefarious. The boss himself is not that hard (but he is pretty damn cheap). It's just that the racing section licks so much rotten ass due to weird movements on the speed pads make you collide into the little platforms and fall to your death. It took me like 18 tries to get past it after I discovered a nice little trick with hoverboots.
Azmuth is pretty damn hard on the hardest difficulty in CiT as well, but it's not as bad with a fully upgraded RYNO.
Prof. Putricide was difficult when he first came out too.
