Obama is a kick-ass action hero, but couldn't seem to stop the Public-option, a cornerstone of his presidency from getting dropped by his own party... great dramatic idea there

You are severly misguided here... with a firm stance from the Republican party saying that they wouldnt accept a public option and Joe LIEbermann and his Blue Dogs being in the pockets of private insurers it was going to be difficult to get through.

And an incredibly expensive government take-over program won't raise the deficit. :D

Oh, the irony.

He's shown he has no problems with using games as a scapegoat or convenient blame figure when it serves his purposes.

Out of curiosity did you bother to read the second link? I mean the whole page?
Yep. People can defend what they see as his possible motivations, but he still makes a number of unflattering references to gaming. If nothing else, he seems to assume many gamers are overweight shut-ins.

I'm not sure what it means that girls want to play games with (...) the baby-hoarder Jolie
Wow, really? A woman who's done so much good with her life and her celebrity (as opposed to basically everyone else we could name)? Was it just that you couldn't think of anything actually negative to say about her that you're trying to turn the fact that she's plucked children out of dire circumstances in third-world countries and given them a loving home into a BAD thing?

Yeah, you put someone else down, you're so cool. I bet all the kids on the playground look up to you now.

MORGAN FREEMAN!
Most deffinently, all other suggestions are BS, it should be 100% for Morgan Freeman
cause he can narrate on everything you do which would be kick-ass

There is no way I would play Left 4 Dead(or SSBB)with the guy who can grant me a presidential pardon. One time I pop his red hp'd ass with an errant shot while racing for the helicopter, and I know my future is screwed.
Wanna know who I would play with?

[small]edit:found new link, hope it sticks this time...)[/small]
(Cookie for whoever can tell me who this is...no peeking!)'nuff said.

I'd play with Cliff Belinski, because his studio seems to be one of the few that actually cares about it's customers. Also, he seems like a cool guy.
What seems to be and what goes through that brain of his are pretty much the same thing, but what he really is....is a dick. Trust me.

Out of the current deficit only 3 cents per dollar is because of President Obamas actions, the rest is George W Bushs.

If he wants to get the country out of the deficit he went the wrong way about it when he decided to continue with the Reagan-esque tax cuts that Bush was using, he needs to cut taxes for the middle class like Clinton did and bring in a Public Option leaving the average person with more money to spend in other markets.

If all celebrities count, then I call dibs on...

BRIAN BLESSED!!!!!!!!

If only to see him wake up the whole neighbourhood when a game crashes on him.

Or Osama Bin Laden. I'll lure him into my house with promises of co-op, and then cash him in.

OT: This is getting annoying. I'm not following US politics closely enough to comment on any of his particular actions in office so far, but the whole rock star status and everyone going "OOH THAT GUY IS SO AWESOME!!" all the time is really getting on my nerves.

Does he? Because I read the entire page and nowhere did he say anywhere near that. Although logic would dictate that if all you do is sit on the couch and play games every spare minute of the day then you are a shut in. And don't forget he also mentioned turning off the TV, quitting smoking, and getting checked for certain diseases to make people healthier. Hell even the Online Advocacy Manager of the ECA posted that "The ECA agrees with President Obama that students need to be physically active and study, and that sitting on a couch all day achieves neither of these objectives." on the very same page. Oh they must be anti gaming as well. or they could be saying hey turn it off once in a while and go outside. Get some fresh air and exercise. Why is that such blasphemy?

I certainly will, the power will not corrupt me.

I have also just recieved evidence that Gamestop are developing WMDs, and will be planning a full scale assault in the next four days.

I will protect my internet from the evil doers by any means neccessary.
