Watching baseball is like watching chess, unless you know the details of the play you won't find it exciting at all. That or you just havn't drunk enough beer.
Agreed. Could be fun to play or watch if your close friends were involved, but watching professional baseball makes me contemplate the potential ballistic trajectory of my remote control.
I have recently grown to quite enjoy (American) football though, particularly at the college level; I'm quite looking forward to the upcoming season.
That being said though, I also really like watching golf. So go figure.
Baseball goes on in the background while you do other things. Friends chatted, drank and ate and came and went during the match. never see that at football (soccer) match, but different strokes and all that.
