DICE, do NOT remove that. I was laughing my arse off xDSaulkar said:Funny Shit.
What could you not possibly like about this game besides Origin?!
Supertegwyn said:Can't help you there. The "T" key on a PC turns the Flashlight/Laser on/off, and it turns off both your primary weapon and sidearm's lights at the same time.A Weakgeek said:How do you turn flashlights on/off for that matter? I'm really looking forward to using more of my mouse buttons in the retail version. My thumb buttons are feeling neglected.
Well speaking as a medic you do have to wait for the revive for a bit after death so I can get to you, but I would like to access the menu between rounds in particular. I'd also like to be able to quit the game between rounds in game rather than alt-tabbing to battlelog and clicking close game. That works just fine, but not having a quit option between rounds, feels awkward. Not being able to tweak settings/keybindings/graphics settings while you are dead/between rounds is annoying too.Awexsome said:snip
Biggest annoyance besides the obvious bugs would have to be the menu interface. Both after death and between rounds you're unable to access the main menu. Why? Especially after a death. That's your prime chance to change up your classes but no you have to waste time you could be actually playing the game to change your loadouts. Major annoyance.
Isn't the phrase "Cup of Tea"?Fangv2 said:Battlefield 3? ... Eh... not my tea-cup. Tried the demo, and liked it but not my tea-cup.
Is it OK if I have that tea cup instead since you are not putting any tea in it?Fangv2 said:Battlefield 3? ... Eh... not my tea-cup. Tried the demo, and liked it but not my tea-cup.
Go to nvidia and search for Beta drivers, I thought it wouldn't support my 8800 cause I couldn't get to driver 2.85 or whatever, but nvidia created a new driver specifically for the BF3 Beta, because if you look at all the video cards, their updates all only go to 2.80, you have to search for beta driversSupertegwyn said:Really? I'm doing it on PS3 and raping with snipers. You just have to be skilledKopikatsu said:I did, but somehow guys with pistols could outsnipe me. Then again, I'm doing it on the PS3 where sniping is hard as balls.Supertegwyn said:Have you ever put one on the island at the beginning of Metro? It's a great sniper spot and you can rack up SO MANY KILLS on it.Kopikatsu said:Yeah...that's where the rest of my shotgun kills come from.Supertegwyn said:It works both ways however. I will never forget the time I was standing on one with my knife out(unaware of the spawn) when a guy just appeared in front of me. Stealth knife kill FTW!
'This guy keeps somehow getting behind us every five seconds and kills almost everyone each time. Think there might be a mobile spawnpoint behind us?' 'No, you're crazy. Shut up and turn around again.' 'Derp. Okay.' -Shotguns both of them-
I would play it on PC but I don't even reach the minimum drivers (sigh)
Stupid 8600....
...No, they're definitely betas. The entire point of it is to field test it and work out bugs, so naturally there are bugs to work out.Klepa said:Not sure whether I like it more than BFBC2 or not.
Saying "It's beta so don't complain" isn't really a valid argument in this day and age. Open Beta's have more to do with demos than actual betas.
