I wanted to make a thread where players can post pictures of their ships, and comment on other people's ships. God, I hope it's in the right place...

Anyhow, I'll start.

I've made a couple of things, but nothing very impressive, as the mouse sensitivity in the ship creator is ludicrous, and I have no real control over placing ship parts.

Some of the above ships are very impressive though.

I was just about to post a few of mine, and then that post appeared in the thread, and suddenly I am feeling incredibly inadequate...
Oh, on a side note, is there any way to rotate pieces? I haven't found one yet...

Anyway, mine:

2 Brutixes (or shouild that be Brutices...) and an Interdictor

And

A Compellor (front obscured by the beams...) fighting a Brutix and some Interdictors.

Incredibly basic and faintly pathetic really in comparision with some others, but only my first attempts *he says, attempting to justify him even posting these*

Oh, on a side note, is there any way to rotate pieces? I haven't found one yet...

"J" and and "L" rotate whatever object you have selected. In the Shipmaker you can press "F1" to open the Help file.

If anyone can put them somewhere for download, that would be awesome.

And on a note regarding shipbuilding. Shift+Arrow Keys allows you to move a section more accurately by moving it one pixel at the time. The F1 Key opens the help text. Oh, and Aidan. I'm from the Wyrdysm Forums. My username there is bien4500...

Nope, it's all real time. The game is designed for tactical combat not gigantic fleets battles involving hundreds or thousands of ship. As long as you don't push the game's limits, combat is simple. I recommend playing Career mode first in order get used to control large numbers of ships.
