At least I can rest easily knowing that Michael Bay knows how retarded Revenge of the Fallen. It will still take a huge amount of care and effort to bring the Transformers name back to it's former glory, both of which are not his forte. Unless he completely changes what he's been doing so far, I'm not looking foreward to this.

On a side note, if you're going to get rid of Megan Fox (Thanks, btw) why would you ever want to keep Shia "Woahwoahwoahwoah" Lebeouf?

No Megan Fox, no absolutely stupid "comedy"... Transformers 3 is looking like a major step up from the disaster that was Transformers 2. I'm still not going to see it, but nice job anyway.

...So, when are they getting rid of the dorky director?

I know, some of you are saying "Bay was 'just' the director". Balderdash. The director has a huge say in what stays and what goes, how it will be shot, what will be emphasized, and, frequently, if the whole gosh-darn thing is just in need of another round of polish before you squander nine figures on putting it on the screen. Most of the time, writers on Hollywood projects go by like so many matchsticks; it's the director's name that comes in the first thirty seconds, and in all the ads, and there's a reason for that.

If you get suckered a third time, you have no one to blame but yourself.

As much as I hate to say, this may be a bad move for the transformer's franchise. We (the majority of the escapist) want to see a better story, no more fox, and serious movie. BUT, their target audience is basically anyone under the age of 20 who like gun fights and exsplosions and hot chicks, that is what they want to see, not what we want.

Well, the stupid 'gags' are what ruined the second one for me, so this can only be a positive step.

He just needs to learn when to cut out unnecessary scenes. And he is starting to get it.
Yes like this scene;

This is absolutely needed in the film, it tells us that the character is fit and firm therefore will be good at running away from giant robots, what that means is that scene is needed to make us believe her surviving a robot onslaught is plausible.

Michael Bay is clearly a genius.
I lol'd. Here you can have a cookie.

Thank God no Megan Fox in this one.

Neat that they are trying out storylines that happened in the cartoon of the 1980s.
I take it you're not a straight man, then?

its def. a step in the right direction..hopefully he can prove that soundwave can be a badass and strong villain, otherwise the decepticons part of the plot will be extremely weak and it'll be explosions without much cause

(not that there s anything wrong with that)

Wow, so he's just blaming the Writers Guild Strike.

Classy. What an idiot. He's only the director! Hey, whatever!

Doesn't matter if he's straight or not. Megan Fox is a terrible actress. Period.

Wait, there was actual writing involved in any of his Transformers films?
If Bay is to be believed, evidently not. Still, I haven't seen ANY of these movies yet and I don't intend to start watching any time soon.

Worst comment EVER. Seriously are you about 12? She is rubbish in looks and ability imo so would that make me less straight that I dont think she is that good looking?
