The game gives you issues to take stances on, that determines the way your country goes.

The rest (Alliances, wars, and such) is mostly RP.
There's also a thing called the World Factbook, it's basically a giant forum, you put your nation's history and stuff in there, if you want.

Let me go ahead and save you the trouble: Saurea doesn't care about Emulsyvania. With an exception of that threat directed at Carthage (c'mon, a nation of over 90 million trying to steamroll over a nation of 6 million) Saurea has a strict policy of not giving a damn about conflicts that aren't happening directly at our borders.

Oh ... that makes things much simplier than. Good to know. You'll forgive me for wargaming your country I didn't know you'd be as amicable as you are.

Of course, this problem still remains.

However, I would recommend against attacking it by yourself. Your nation's populations are nearly equal, but one of Emu's main industries is Arms Manufacturing.

That's true. A frontal assualt on Emulsyvania is probably ill advised. I think I can find a way to work around it though.

Just as well. According to my nation's canon the military is a prestigious and highly revered profession, so in the "present day" there is somewhere over an estimated 15 million people serving in the military (attendant staff and such not included). This is spread across twelve self-contained and self-sufficient "crusade armies" that basically have all the branches of the military (sans Navy) rolled into one. Even if we send out, say, two or three of our self-contained armies to support a foreign war effort we would still have several million troops domestically held in reserve, meaning that we would still be pretty well defended.

*sighs* Having a population of over 100 million kicks ass

Anyway, Saurea "would" help with your assault on Emulsyvania if it wasn't for on thing: there is nothing in it for us. The country is too far from the Saurean motherland to conquer it, farming the country for religious converts when your doing an occupation anyway (which we aren't because of the distance), our economy is strong enough that it's actually cheaper to buy whatever we want instead of blowing sh*t up to just take it, etc.

Find something to offer us and you just might have our assistance.

So here I am, browsing our Nation States thread on the Escapist. Then all of a sudden...

Berethond and Archonis-Thay could run intereference for you on the acknowledgement that we could provide mutual naval bombardment of Dragonrabbits. In addition, we'd be creating a situation where Saurea wouldn't have full use of it's defenses.

... It probably wouldn't be enough to conquer Saurea, but we could force a military stalemate. Probably significantly weaken his influence in the area. And if he calls truce, Tregonia and Trois-mots have to ship thier troops directly to Dragonrabit's border with Berethond instead of Saurea. So, we'd simultaneously reduce Dragonrabbit's troops support and force them to fight on one front instead of two.

... As you can probably tell I'm something of a strategy-buff. I feel like I'm planing WW1.

In my mind the basic Saurean soldier looks something kind of like this:

A Templar, on the other hand, looks pretty much the same except with more white details on the armor, a darker-colored horozontal stripe painted over the "eyes" of the helmet (symbolizing a blindfold, which itself is a throwback to The Blind Observer, their religion's prophet) and a plethora of religious symbols and regalia.

Hmm ... I have a technical question.

I've made my own flag in photoshop but it's not letting me load it on to my profile. It says it exceeds the 10KB memory limit. I find that unlikely because all I did was edit my prexisting flag, didn't really do anything fancy to it, didn't even add another color. Anyway, has anyone else had this problem or, perhaps the more important question, how does one reduce the memory of an image? I have my flag saved as a JPEG. Is this the problem?

It says I'm at 22.8K. I've tried saving as a .jpg, it doesn't make any difference.

... Hmm. Ah well. I'll stick with my current flag for now.

Edit: Well, if I make it half the size it's supposed to be I can get it in under the margin. It isn't worth it though.
