I wish. Better imo though is the developers making the framework and assets for the game and letting modders create the actual gameplay content via a marketplace "mod store" model. That way everyone is doing what they're best at, and we customers get the most possible options for gameplay. It's WAY past time for something like that to happen.dr_huch said:I think Bethesda should stick to what they know and focus on that, let the players sort thingsArkley said:2~4 player co-op in Skyrim is something I'd really like to see officially implemented.
out by modding the game and maybe later even have a dlc released.
By that i mean Bethesda going hand in hand (since they are still a company and need to make money) with modder(s) and agreeing to co-release a mod/dlc.
Does that sound like something that might actually happen?
For me, being done with the single player is when I am happy with the outcome. That could mean bringing stability to society or it could just be settling down in a small town without ever trying the main quest. I won't know till I play the game.HentMas said:one question, what is for you being done with the game in single-player??Flames66 said:I might consider it when I am done with the game in single-player.
beating the main quest??
completing the whole objectives that there exist?
playing the path of every focused character? (warrior, restoration mage, destruction mage, archer, thief, etc) and then the path of all the mixes there can be?
I agree... The time when a Chineese guy walks up to me, in Skyrim, and offers me 30.000 gold for the price of 7$, is the time when all the magic leaves Tamriel..! Or imagine Dagoth Ur Noooping you on your way to The Heart of Lorcan... Terrible.Eleima said:What do I think? Well, I'm sure you're all very nice people (well, most of you people on the Internet, anyway ^_^ ), but "please stay out of my Elder Scrolls game" would adequately sum up what I think. The Elder Scrolls has always been a solitary experience for me, since day one (and I've been playing TES games since Arena), and I couldn't imagine having to share that with other players. Not to mention that the TES games would kinda lose their flavor if you had thousands of Dovahkiins, Nerevarines or Champions of Cyrodiil running around. It's my feeling that it would cheapen the experience.Greg Tito said:But honestly, I'm not sure that I would want multiplayer clogging up my Skyrim What do you guys think? Would you download a multiplayer mod? Should Bethesda include multiplayer in their Elder Scroll games or is singleplayer enough for you?
Heck, I can barely tolerate followers, and even then, only because they provide extra storage space for my loot!
Not to mention that if TES games are buggy now, bringing them online would probably crash the Internet. Or bring on the Apocalypse or something.
In the end, I'm mostly a single player gamer kind of a girl in the end: I mostly play games which I can pause, or quit at a moment's notice for RL reasons. (Although I *do* miss playing TF2 with the Escapist UK server crowd [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/groups/view/The-Escapist-Team-Fortress-2-Group-PC], they're an awesome bunch.)
I was about to say! If they had intentionally put in multilayer support this could have been the next Neverwinter Nights!ms_sunlight said:Skyrim with Neverwinter Nights style persistent worlds? That I could do.
